Lovely house in lovely Rheinfelden!

The house was spotlessly clean, comfortable and fully equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere in Rheinfelden in the sunshine. Marcello was really helpful which we appreciated. Thank you! We would definitely love to come back.

We had a lovely stay over the Eurovision weekend and will definitely recommend this property.

Sleeps 5, we were 3 adults(no couples, so could spread out). Well located in the charming old town of Rheinfelden(Swiss side), easy to walk from train station. Stocked with basic necessities you may need for a few days such as coffee, dishwash pills, shower gel etc. Two toilets with washbasin each, one shower. Everything clean, enough towels. Good instructions available. Owner very friendly and responsive, speaks English. The cold water swimmer in our group could even swim safely in the Rhein with the information and equipment provided in the house.

This would be a difficult property for someone with mobility issues, as the house is traditional, spread over 5 levels with very steep stairs. For similar reasons it might thus also not be suitable if you have very young children who are crawling or recent walkers. Two warnings that is not specific to the property: 1. Switzerland requires a unique electrical plug, not the standard European one 2. The town is not very accommodating if you are gluten intolerant and breakfast was difficult, even more so on the Sunday morning (Bohemia restaurant was gluten aware and great for lunch but do not provide breakfast) Both these problems can be solved by going to the Migros supermarket

It’s an amazing property, with a lot of charm and character! It is beautifully situated, very clean and great facilities. The host is very helpful and responsive. We absolutely love this place.

Location, decoration, amenities: all nothing short of amazing!

The location of this house is amazing: right at a cute square in the middle of the downtown area, yet (save for the clock bells to which you quickly get used), extremely quiet and calm. Besides the location, the care, attention and love that has gone into this house is visible everywhere. The only thing setting it apart from a 5* boutique hotel is the lack of a reception and a breakfast buffet :-) The house is tastefully, yet pragmatically decorated and every small detail has been thought of (from detergent to handwash your clothes, to color pencils for the kids, to earplugs in case you need them, to discount coupons for some main attractions). One of the best, if not the best, holiday homes we've ever stayed at.

If you like cooking, bring or buy some of your own pots and pans. There were only a few and some were worn down. Really a tiny point of improvement though.

Superb

Very friendly and helpful owners. Very complete and spacious property. Everything you need for self catering, even together with kids. Access to fontaine in front of the house and river (with the special floating bags) where also very appreciated.

The different city bells that were very noisy and ringing day and night. (Not responsibility of the property but it takes some time to get used to it)

Kleines Altstadteckhäuschen mit Charme

Man betritt das Häuschen und fühlt sich gleich wohl. Liebevoll mit kleinen Details ausgestattet für die ganze Familie. Eine toll ausgestattete Küche, ein Spieleschrank, die Legokiste unter dem Stockbett im liebevoll gestalteten Kinderzimmer, u.v.m. runden das Wohnerlebnis ab. Die obere Etage mit Doppelbett ist ein Traum. Das Schlafzimmer fügt sich, nicht nur optisch, in das Fachwerk des Gebäudes ein und auch die Galerie ist einfach toll in Szene gesetzt.0

Wunderbar und wir kommen gerne wieder!

Die gemütliche, hervorragend ausgestattet Wohnküche, die großen Fensterbänke die zum sitzen und hinausschauen einladen, das schöne Bad und der Schlafraum im 2. Stock mit den freigelegten Balken. Sehr heimelig. Es liegt zentral in der hübschen Altstadt und man ist schnell am Rhein, bei der Therme und dem Bahnhof.

Wundervolles Haus direkt in der Altstadt

Das Ferienhaus wurde liebevoll eingerichtet und strahlt eine ganz besondere Gemütlichkeit aus! Mit viel Liebe zum Detail wurde ein wundervolles Ambiente erschaffen. Dazu die tolle Lage in der Altstadt ergeben eine wundere Kombination für einen gelungenen Urlaub! Unsere Kinder waren ganz begeistert von den vielen Etagen und Treppen. Die Ausstattung war auch überdurchschnittlich gut! Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt.
