Great apartment, nice welcome package. Pool towels and regular towels provided. Good equipment in the kitchen and great location to explore the Funchal area.
Pool was high in chlorine, maybe to have some ease of maintenance/bacteria. Tap water also have some chlorine taste but we expect the entire area does. Apartment is close to highway so you will hear the occasional motorcycle exhaust

House was very big, more than enough for our group, three storeys, four bathrooms. Kitchen equipped with everything we needed and also there was a gift from host which was very kind. Pool was shared with other apartments but in the evening we always found it empty for children to use. There is parking space, house located quite far from the main village but with car that is not an issue. Overall would definitely recommend this place, we had a great stay

We booked here spontaneously when our flight to Lisabon was cancelled. We stayed as a two person, and the apartment could easily fit 4 persons. There was a box of chocolates and wine prepared by the host. Overall a really nice experience, which we unfortunately didn't get to explore further. There was no security deposit wanted, as in some other properties we stayed on Madeira, which is also a plus. Parking was also available at the property.

Rooms were large with its own bathroom
. Noise upstairs echoed downstairs. Chairs dragging on verandahs was unbearable at night. Showers heads are broken. Tiles outside are loose
