Villa Rosemagnolia, pool 35m2, in green, gardens, full sun close to everything

The villa is exceptionally clean and a lot of space with very comfy furniture

This is a beautiful place, surrounded by citrus and olive groves with panoramic views of the mountains in the distance. It feels nicely secluded but has easy access to all the attractions (some great tavernas are very close plus there is a useful shop just across the road) and it is only 15 minutes from Chania and many beaches. The villa is so well proportioned, spacious and elegant. It was stocked with everything you could possibly need as well as delicious Cretan honey, oil, cheese, wine and fruit. All down to Stella who is amazing and made us feel welcome straight away. I text her nearly everyday just because it was great to follow her suggestions and she shared all the best places. We made a day trip to a winery we knew in the east of the island which was fantastic but it was always good to head back to Rosemagnolia. Thank you for looking after us so beautifully Stella. It was particularly hot while we were there and we spent most of our time on the verandah and in the (perfectly kept) pool. The cicadas were in their element and we were also enchanted by a praying mantis transforming day by day, the geckos and a gorgeous violet bee! The garden became fragrant at dusk when everything quietened and the sun set over the mountains. Magical.

The house is very comfortable, spacious and equipped with everything we needed (and even more). Pool is suitable for adults and children, we spent lots of time relaxing, playing pool games, listening to the music there. Localization is very close to Chania city (10 minutes) with nice beaches and tavernas around. The main road after a while became an advantage, cicadas where balancing the sound from it :) The House is sorounded with beautiful garden with nice smelling flowers and orange, avocado, lemon, pomegranate trees. Both bedrooms with balcony have great mountain view. And the owner... Stella the best host ever. Very helpful, equiped us with lots of recomendations (we used almost every of them). Even treated us with homemade, delicious food. Was ready to help us with any issue. Our 2 weeks family vacation where amazing!

When my friends and I decided to take a week out to go to Crete, we agreed that we wanted to find a villa that wasn't directly in the centre of Chania but somewhere a bit more isolated while still being accessible - i'm delighted to say that Stella's villa was absolutely the best choice we could have made. The villa itself is large, spacious, and has amazing facilities. Everything is modern and furnished to a very high standard while retaining a home-y feel. The veranda and the pool were by far my favourite parts of the villa - there's something to be said about having breakfast on the veranda and then wandering down to the pool for a refreshing dip! The villa is about a 15 minute drive to the centre of Chania, with some really good cafes within a 5 minute drive to satisfy those late night food cravings. Supermarkets, bars, sightseeing destinations were all readily available to us within a short drive. The villa has pretty much complete privacy, so no issues with noises or lights or anything like that. Stella was an amazing host - she gave us recommendations for good places to eat, visit, and explore the nightlife, was always quick to answer any questions we had and genuinely did everything she could to make sure we had a great time. She succeeded! Stella - you have our thanks for an awesome vacation!
