About this house rental
Modern 4 bedroom house with great sea views of beautiful Banks Peninsula from every room and a rural aspect behind the house with all rooms on the same level. Parking on the flat behind the house or on the turning bay by the garage. Large deck on the front of the house with plentiful outdoor furniture. A gardener keeps the property in good order. Say hello to Tom if he’s about while you are staying.
There are security cameras over the garage and the main door. These protect you and us both. They act as a deterrent. There is an internal security system which we have disabled as it is hard to turn off if accidentally triggered.
Modern appliances and comfortable beds: 2 King Beds; 1 Queen Bed; One King Single. 2 Bathrooms, with one being the master bedroom ensuite, containing a shower and bath. Separate toilet. Study. Fibre installed for good wifi.
Our house is 5 minutes drive from the Lyttelton village and it’s famous Saturday market and quirky restaurants and cafes, and 20 mins into the centre of Christchurch. Local walks abound. Wake up to gorgeous views and birdsong.

The Cass Bay Retreat exceeded our expectations! The home is absolutely lovely, well appointed, clean & the views (as well as property grounds) are beyond amazing! You'll have everything you need to cook meals, walk the neighborhood, enjoy some family games & in relax in a wonderful New Zealand home! The owners are thoughtful with directions & communication.

Thanks Viv and Rob for a wonderful stay at your delightfully appointed house. There was nothing left wanting and we enjoyed every aspect of it. All the bedrooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. The living area was delightful and made day tripping almost a chore as We didn’t want to leave the view. Thank you for sharing with us

The pictures of the inside of this house don't do it justice, it was a lovely bright space with wonderful views over the bay. A perfect place to simply relax or entertain with a BBQ overlooking the sea.
