We had an excellent stay overall. The room provided everything we needed and the host was very friendly and helpful.

Location, cleanliness and communication

Air conditioning is a little noisy. We visited in the winter and it was cold outside so I would have liked some moisturiser added to the toiletries provided.

I expected some other stuff in bathroom, for example tooth brush and tooth paste. The loud speaker couldn't be connected. The sound proof is not the best, I can hear steps of guests from upstairs.

Simply unacceptable behavior of the owner and a complete lack of professionalism.

Very nice apartment but the owner was asking money for everything extra!

What I really did not like was the owner’s attitude. When we had a problem with the Wi-Fi, he informed us that he was far away and could not do anything, offering no real assistance. Before we even arrived at the apartment, he asked for extra money to upgrade the apartment, even though we had not requested any upgrade. Upon arrival, he had not sent us the necessary information on how to enter the apartment, and we were left waiting outside in the snow until he finally responded. Check-out was at 11:00 a.m., and when I asked for a one-hour extension, he asked for additional payment. What is completely unacceptable is that at 11:05, when we returned to collect our belongings, he had already taken them out of the apartment. Simply unacceptable behavior and a complete lack of professionalism.

This is not the first time I have stayed at this hotel. It is cozy, convenient location, but the changed conditions regarding paid parking are no longer pleasing. A person does not have the freedom with your car to leave and come back to it whenever he wants, you are dependent on the host's call.

Great hotel and great owner!

The owner was amazing and obviously cares so much about this hotel and guests. The room was amazing with some great high quality touches.

Just a slight shame it is on a road with some run down buildings but don’t let that put you off. Also coffee is great with the Miele machine but only allowed one a day. No washing machine - need to pay extra. Maybe improve the signage on the front door.

Understand how to check in otherwise lovely accommodation

Room was really nice very modern and beautifully decorated Beds very comfortable. Location was great as very close to the old town and we could walk there under 10 minutes

We had a late flight so did not get there until after 11 pm. We did receive instructions on self check in but unfortunately they could have given more precise instructions. They share the building with other companies and their floors are on the second and fourth floor. The stairs are dark so made it difficult. We could not get in with the fob key so we rang the emergency number numerous times, texted and emailed but with no success. Luckily my daughter lives there in student accommodation so stayed with her. We heard from The Joseph following morning and discovered we were at the very top floor This was the only complaint I would have as I felt it lacked the personal touch or human interaction to resolve this issue

Lovely stay in Vilnius

I loved staying here! The rooms are spacious, the interior design is great, everything was clean and I was sleeping like a baby. There is also no noise which was great as well. The bathroom has floor heating which gave a very luxurious and pleasant experience. The staff is lovely, responsive and so accommodating. I asked for a late check out and they made it work even though this required some extra work on their end. I also loved that it is located right next to the water which is great for running or going for a walk. The city center can be reached within 10-15min. I would recommend staying here and would stay here again!

Wonderful spot to experience Vilnius

Great location, yummy breakfast, very clean, well-equipped room. Owner is very responsive and has lots of local knowledge. Less than 10 minute walk to the old part of town. Next to river with great paths for walking/running. Bonus activity tip: rent bikes from Velotakas Bike & Tours and take them on the train to Trakai! Train has a dedicated car for carrying bikes and Trakai has paths for riding around the lake.

The hallway music was loud enough to keep us up one night, but the owner turned it off the next day when we asked. Also, check-in relies on a cell signal, so this could be a problem if you don't have coverage (we didn't have a SIM that worked at first). If you don't let them know your arrival time there may not be anyone there to let you in. Thankfully someone was there when we arrived.

Excellent!

The location was easy and accessible. AC in room was located in hall so it doesnt blow directly towards bed. The bed was comfortable, the linens felt luxurious. Breakfast was tasty. Staff was very friendly and responsive. Our room had windows directed to courtyard, couldnt hear traffic noise from street. The room was very clean. Wifi worked great.

Room description differs from reality – missing in the room: • Washing machine – not in the room, • Refrigerator – not in the room, • Coffee maker – not in the room, • Microwave – not in the room, Kitchenette – not in the room. I was informed that the reason was a room upgrade comparing the booked one, but no one asked me if I was interested to get it, and the room was too small for 4 people anyway… Overall, the room is okay, comfortable, clean, but too small for 4 people and not for the price. It does not include what is mentioned in the room description. In addition to this I have been waiting 40 minutes to get the room (after delcared checking time 15:00)

Perfect stay for a city trip

Very friendly welcoming und helpful owner, free parking, good breakfast in the room which was large and comfortable, has an own kitchen and was very quiet. The location is perfect for sightseeing and a city trip.

Clean and cosy - a perfect base for a Vilnius holiday

The room was very clean and cosy. Good sound-isolation. Bidet in the bathroom was a nice add-on.

Maybe the breakfast could have had a bit more selections (e.g. jam with the croissant). But the idea of getting the breakfast delivered to the room was excellent. Maybe a fridge for each room could be considered.

If you are looking for a quiet, luxurious and relaxing stay - this hotel is the one to go for!

First of all, I would like to thank the hotel staff and especially Ignas for making our stay in Vilnius unforgettable. Ignas hospitality skills had definitely exceeded our expectations! Regarding the hotel itself - only positive feedback. The lobby and the room gave luxurious vibes as soon as we stepped in, everything looked clean and very well maintained. Great attention to small details and decorations instantly made us feel very relaxed as well as the bed which was incredibly comfortable.

nicely designed, good location but completely fails to deliver

nicely designed room

1) very loud and constant noise from renovation works (power drill) in the room or building next to my room starting 8am throughout the day. 2) room temperature was very low and upon my complaint could not be increased to a more convenient level (neither by aircon nor by underfloor heating. Because this was so inconvinient that I decided to move out after one night despite having already paid for 2 nights. I moved to the Congress Hotel next door which was more convenient and also cheaper. The manager Ignas apologized and promised to refund me the second night. 3) To this date (7th May) it's been one month that I have been trying to get a VAT invoice which my company requires for accounting. The Joseph hotel management is responsive to some extent but has not delivered the invoice so far which I regard as totally unacceptable from a business traveller's point of view. Neither I received compensation (refund or voucher) for the second night.

Location and friendliness of the staff amazing room with marvelous bedding, sheets and duvets very spacious, stylish interior and comfy couch also very nice bathroom amenities from Loccitane, great smell helpful tips for the city and adativeness of leaving the luggage there

Breakfast option was rather limited and the food not a lot communication during the stay with whatsapp was delayed and we missed some bits double bed with 160cm is tight when staying with friends

A fabulous place

An excellent place to stay to visit Vilnius. Close to the centre and overlooking the river. The room was very modern, clean and the bed was soo comfortable. The host was very attentive and helpful. Breakfast in the room was delicious.

We had a wonderful vacation, mainly thanks to our host Ignas.

The host Ignas was amazing. A nice and smiling man, whatever we wanted and asked, he helped us, with everything.The room was spacious and cozy. Tastefully decorated and comfortable. Breakfast was served in the room and was excellent. Just what you need. There is a great coffee machine in the hallway.

The apartment is located by the river at the edge of the old city, a little far from the center of things (although it is within walking distance) and the apartment is on the third floor without an elevator, but our amazing host Ignas helped us with everything, even with the luggage.

Good value for money if the cons are not your concern

:-) Very modern and new finishings in the room. Comfy bed, new shower, high tech amenities, premium decor. Host is very helpful. Good location near most of the main attractions though it’s on the main road, driving in and out is a bit of a challenge. :-( 1) room is on level 4, no lifts. However, the host is kind enough to help carry luggages up and down when checking in and out. 2) parking is not free though mentioned as free 3) washing machine is not self service or free 4) parking is a challenge as you have to call the host to open the boom gate whenever you want to go in and out.

Nearly excellent with a few minor flaws

Overaly it is very pleasant place to stay and would recommend it, if the few minor weak points would not mind you. What I did like: - super clean room - very well renovated using premium materials and top quality installation - very comfortable large bed - quiet room even if it is right above the busy street - friendly and helpful staff - coffee machine in the hall with very good coffee - tasty breakfast (although limited selection) - TV with Netflix and Prime - nice view to the river - it is more Airbnb than a hotel

Considering the price I also have to state a few negatives, although in my case they did worsen my experience only slightly: - the house looks scary from the outside - old, worn, unmaintained - rooms are on the 3rd floor with no elevator - might be complication for some - breakfast served to the room since there is no restaurant. No choice possible, you just get what you get (scrumbled eggs, bread, half of tomato, jam, butter, grapes, orange juice, coffee). But everything was very tasteful. - location might be a negative for someone - it is more Airbnb than a hotel
