The location is superb - couldn't be better. And it was fantastic to get to use a washing machine.

You need to keep an open mind staying there. If you do this place has its charms. Firstly it is not a wholly independant apartment - there is a well equipped kitchen/living room and a bedroom. However the toilet is out in the hallway (and I guess shared with the host - she wasn't at home much). It is on the 4th floor in an ancient building so you need to prepare for that - and everything is a bit dated. We didn't mind and the apartment suits the environment of Bayonne but these things should be made clear. Also you need some knowledge of french/spanish as the host doesn't speak english (her lovely neighbour does though and helped us out). Also the windows lead to a port so no view.
