Our group of 11 stayed very comfortably. It was nice to stay at a short term rental where you were not provided with the least expensive and most limited amount of items. I’m not saying other rentals are wrong in doing this, it was a very nice unexpected surprise: knives that cut, fully stocked kitchen, so many towels and linens at our disposal, a second roll of toilet paper, garbage bags, basic kitchen items like parchment paper, aluminum foil, coffee pot filters, the list goes on. It felt like coming home not a rental. The house is not overly large, but it is spacious and has an open concept in the living areas that are perfectly furnished and layed out to very comfortably accommodate a large group. The listing says accommodates 12. Our group was 11 and we had no problem being in the kitchen together. It seems designed with the purpose of gathering and enjoying each other. However, 3 of the rooms only have access through the screened in porch and one is completely separate from the house, so there is a decent amount of privacy to be had as well. We thoroughly enjoyed the easy access to the bay, the kayaks, the ping pong table, and the many chairs and swings in the covered porch. Beautiful home would highly recommend a stay!

Lazy days on the wrap around porch. Kayaking in the shallow beach water area. BBQ’n on the sand and watching the boats pass in the channel with pelicans galore and dolphin fins visible. Game and puzzle nights at the long table inside and the two tables on the porch. We cooked all 4 days and never needed anything as far as kitchen gear. It was The Escape We All Needed.

We planned a quick all girls trip. The house was exactly what we were looking for and even better than we imagined. The house has a very comforting atmosphere and the view is absolutely breathtaking. The kitchen has a large island which made making meals easy and enough room for the whole group to help out. The large kitchen table was great for everyone to fit and talk about the daily itineraries during a breakfast. The back porch was probably the overall favorite area during mornings and evenings. The dolphins came right in view a few times. There are kayaks that can be used and a fire pit where we roasted marshmallows our last night. The host was so friendly and was easy to reach if we needed anything. The property is far enough away from everything to enjoy the peace but close enough that basic necessities are within 20 minutes. A definite must stay. ❤️

The house was spacious & comfortable. Everything we needed was provided. The kids (& adults) thoroughly enjoyed the kayaks & paddle boards.
If a beach experience is desired, be aware that the Gulf is a good ways off by car.
We had a wonderful vacation!
