Location… Real Joy staff was great… the condo was clean and had everything we needed.

The bed was a little hard.

The location was fantastic! Very convenient (as in 2 miles or less) to grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants, starting points for excursions, and Harborwalk Village. Loved having a constant view of the beach and ocean throughout most of the condo as well. The condo looked just as great in person as it did in the photos. The condo was exceptionally clean, very comfortably furnished, and stocked with plenty of towels. We also loved the outdoor pool, which was heated, very clean, and is salt treated versus traditional chlorination, so the pool water didn't sting our eyes, or leave our skin or hair dried out. My husband and I also noted how quiet it was as well, which contributed to an even more relaxing stay. We stayed towards the tail end of the area's low season, so not sure how the noise levels change with more people during high season, but the windows and sliding glass doors for the apartment are heavy and seem to block a lot of sound.

As some of the other reviews mentioned, the dryer was a bit fickle. No matter the setting, it didn't seem to get anything completely dry (even with very small loads at high heat). Clothes would be mostly dry, but I found that in some instances, I needed to lay out some pieces to airdry for 30 minutes or so befofe folding because of an ever so slight dampness still remaining on the laundry. Also, the shower switch for the bathroom in the primary bedroom did not work, so my husband and I had to use the shower in the hallway bathroom. The primary bathroom does have a nice size tub, so at the very least, you can take a lovely and relaxing bath (which I did). Finally, while we felt very safe staying here, there was an incident that made me briefly question just how thorough some of the gate guards are with letting people through and issuing parking passes. During one of the days of our stay (3/6/26), we got a knock on the door from someone originally claiming to be housekeeping (fyi, there is no houskeeping).. While I was trying to open the door, the man in question attempted to open the door from the outside and put in a code to unlock the door. When I questioned him further, he claimed that he was supposed to be checking in to the condo in which we were staying (and we weren't scheduled to check out for another 3 days). I shared with him our check-out date, and he showed me his booking confirmation. Turns out he was supposed to check into a condo rental for the exact same unit number, but for the community across the street, Sandpiper Cove. It was a misunderstanding on his part (and he was joking at the beginning when he said he was housekeeping).

That there were chairs & umbrella included at the beach. That the condo was clean.

the king size bed was squeaky. There was no salt & pepper. The bedrooms were warmer than the living room & kitchen; hvac needs looked at.

There was no breakfast.

The washing machine did not work and there were other, minor issues with the condo. But, more importantly, we were not informed there would be major construction going on during our stay. The condo should not have rented under the noise conditions present.
