Rambuje Resort

We had a lovely stay at Rambuje Resort (couple in their early 30s). The hotel is family owned and everyone is super nice, calm and helpful and you feel right at home. It is a very peaceful area, so the calm attitude of the owners is just adding to the relaxing atmosphere. Mid to late September it was mixed weather, generally good but already a bit cold for swimming some days. Although we could rent bikes and also a car from the owner, I would suggest getting a car for the whole stay if you like to explore or go to other restaurants. As we just wanted to relax and really like the food at Rambuje (especially the prawns) it wasn't needed. All in all, it was a really nice stay and if you're passing by or are interested in the wildlife around the Lagune, I would always highly recommend a stay at Rambuje.

Mosquitos at dawn but manageable with mosquito spray.

Very peaceful and quiet 🪷 except for the waterbirds, but it was beautiful to experience there liveliness 🪶 Great beds!

My friend ordered the pasta Nero which was not her taste... the shrimps with brandysauce were delicious 😋

The restaurant is fantastic and the staff very caring. Having a good sized pool right outside is nice and peaceful. There is no elevator, but the staff will help you with the suitcases.

Everything was great, the breakfast could use more variety, but still good.

Rambuje – it has such a beautiful and tranquil vibe, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The property itself is stunning, with peaceful surroundings and a real sense of escape. Alta was an incredibly generous and thoughtful host. She went above and beyond by offering to drive us to the beach and even to a restaurant a little farther away. That kind of hospitality made our stay feel really personal and welcoming.

It’s definitely a place where having a car makes things much easier. There aren’t any shops nearby, so without a car, even picking up essentials could become quite expensive with taxi fares (we paid €50 for a 20-minute ride one evening). We’d highly recommend renting a car if you plan to stay for a few days or more. That said, there are still some great spots within walking distance. One of our favorite discoveries was REY, a charming little restaurant just a 16-minute walk away. We loved it so much, we ended up going multiple times during our stay! The pool area is lovely, although the fountains weren’t working during our visit – a small detail in an otherwise beautiful setting. The beach is about a 10-minute drive, and while it’s not private, it’s very quiet and secluded – often it felt like we had it all to ourselves. There’s also a lovely little beachside coffee bar. While the beach could use a bit of cleanup in some areas, the sea itself is absolutely beautiful and perfect for a refreshing swim.
