Las Terrenas, La Fenice, Playa Popy

We booked this unit at the very last minute and were lucky to get it at a very affordable price. I would definitely give this property a 10+++! The apartment is located in a beautifully maintained residential complex directly in front of Punta Popy, one of the best beaches in the Las Terrenas area. It is also close to several excellent restaurants and within easy reach of town. The complex has lovely facilities, perfectly cared-for gardens, two very large swimming pools, a huge parking area, and 24/7 security. There is also a small kiosk at the entrance selling snacks and breakfast items. You truly get everything you need from a resort-style stay without being in a huge or overcrowded complex. The unit itself is exactly as shown in the photos and comfortably accommodates four people. It has one double bed and one double sofa bed. It is fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, including a large refrigerator, a washing machine, and all the necessary kitchen equipment. Most importantly, the apartment was extremely clean, which made our stay very pleasant. The check-in and check-out service was excellent. The person taking care of the unit was incredibly attentive and always available to help with any questions or issues. The owner was equally kind, responsive, and genuinely committed to making sure his guests were happy. He truly does a great job of keeping his guests satisfied. The only point worth mentioning concerns how Booking.com displays additional charges. When I searched for and booked the unit, the price shown was approximately US$340. However, the final confirmation displayed only US$300, without clearly showing the additional US$40 cleaning fee. The separate electricity charge was not shown at all. The unit must also be paid for in cash or through PayPal. Electricity costs approximately US$3 per day, depending on consumption. As a Booking.

Nothing to complain about this rental. But Booking.com as a platform for renting can sometimes create confusions for hosts and guests.
