Canary Bio Hostel Tenerife

I really enjoyed my stay at Canary Bio Hostel in Tenerife. It offers excellent value for money and is very comfortable overall. The host is kind and always ready to help, which made the experience feel welcoming and easy. I also appreciated the small personal touches, like being left some organic strawberries.

The only minor downside was that my room faced the street, so there was some traffic noise at times. It wasn’t a major issue as the whole area is not really busy.

Excellent house, very clean with well stocked kitchen and beautiful terrace with amazing views. Not in the town centre but easy to get to with bus and benefits from being quiet and peaceful. Easy to get to the walking trails from the door or by bus.

Most buses arrive 15 minute walk away but there is a bus which stops right outside, easy to use.

Great and comfortable place to stay, definitely recommend to stay. Nice facilities, balcony and terrace.

It was clean

If you’re looking for a cozy hostel with a warm atmosphere, this is NOT your place. This is simply an old home turned into accommodation: it has 3-4 rooms, a kitchen and two bathrooms. No effort has been put in creating a cozy atmosphere. There’s a huge terrace that could have plants, chairs, a hammock or two… instead, it’s completely empty so you basically don’t use it. The owners/staff are never to be seen, so the place really feels like a ghost hotel. The rooms are also a bit sad furniture and decoration wise. Everything looks like it once belonged to an old couple and they’re just renting the different rooms to different people. This whole Bio thing was just a chalk board in the kitchen that read: we have vegetables for you to buy. Also, the town is also a ghost town: no restaurants or bars around, only a couple of supermarkets.
