The house was fantastic for our group of 8 girls - all the bedrooms had en suite bathrooms, the living room and dining area was great for socialising in the evenings, the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were clean and bright. The outdoor space was great too. The house is in the Foz area close to the riverside promenade where you can walk out to the coast in 30 mins and there's a supermarket just round the corner. It's a perfect base to explore Porto, Gaia and the coast. The owners were friendly and responsive and helped us book airport transfers.
The house next door has building works going on (Nov 25) but we weren't disturbed too much

The number of bedrooms and bathrooms was great. The kitchen was fully equipped. Good laundry facilities. Close to a grocery. Close to the Douro river. Nice views of the river from the 2nd floor. Availability of a 1st floor bedroom. Very comfortable beds and bedding.
Handrail for stairs, both outside and inside would have been helpful.

Very spacious and with a nice view to the river from the first floor. Good parking space and calm street. Host and staff was professional and nice.
Nice location, close to Foz and Matosinhos sul but also to Boavista and Porto’s historical area.
Airplanes pass by with moderate frequency - nothing that we can get used to (we were out of the house most other day) - there isn’t any noise during late night though.
