About this house rental
Our cycladic house is located on the seafront in the picturesque fishing village of Mandrakia, on the North Shore of Milos. From our veranda you will enjoy breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea and have direct access to the sea.The house fits 5. It consists of two floors and has two bedrooms with a double bed each, a well equipped kitchen with a single bed, a bathroom, two balconies, two verandas, a stonebuilt barbecue. Just below the house is a marvellous public swimming area with crystal clear water,where you can relax and swim. Next to us is a traditional taverna.
The fishing village of Mandrakia is dominated by its typical 'Sirmata', traditional shelters for the fishing boats, carved in the rocks and painted in bright colours. There are two little ports, a church and a taverna in the village
The nearest beach 'Tourkothalassa' is only a two minutes' walk from our house, the next villages Pera-Triovassalos and Triovassalos 1,3km. The famous beach of Sarakiniko, most photographed beach in the Aegean, is a five minutes ride by car.

Loannis and her colleague Mrs Voula were both wonderful- very kind and highly responsive. The place was as described but wow- the views are hard to fully appreciate from the pictures alone- a location like no other. It was also very centrally located on the small island- close to the port, to great small villages and cool archeological sites and some great restaurants. The host also provided great recommendations for local sites and restaurants to visit. We did rent a car so we could more easily travel to local beaches and all of the sites we wanted to see. We would definitely recommend and return.

This was an amazing adventure! The host treated us like old family friends and saved us when we got lost using our GPS. We had a rainy day that was so serene, everyone talks about the blue waters and beaches on Milos, but this was incredible having the windows open to the sea and air during a storm. Thank you for everything.

Just a beautiful cottage on the sea. We loved being right next to Medusa as well. Wonderful communication this is a must stay!

My husband and I absolutely loved this home. We were warned how close the restaurant was to it but we’re still surprised at HOW close. But it really didn’t bother us at all. It seems we were also on a tourist list as Justin Beiber had been to this restaurant so about mid-morning people would start walking by in front of our porch seemingly searching for something. Maybe him? We enjoyed breakfast there every day overlooking the sea. There was complete privacy, however, on the upper deck which had the same gorgeous view.
The upstairs bedroom is beautiful but it should be noted that the ladder hole is in a very surprisingly dangerous spot. I would definitely close it at night for safety reasons.
Communication was great and Voula was very helpful with suggestions for us.
We loved Milos and discovered a new beach every day. Be sure to visit Plaka for dinner or shopping or just experiencing the vibrant area.
