Rita Maria était présente à notre arrivée pour nous accueillir. Elle est très agréable et disponible. La maison est spacieuse, la cuisine est très bien équipée, les lits sont confortables, l'espace dressing-salle de bain est fort grand et pratique. La vue sur les collines des Langhe est fort chouette. Petit plus, le village est plaisant: que ce soit à l'épicerie ou au bar, les gens sont souriants, serviables, accueillants. Un habitant que nous avons simplement salué dans la rue nous a immédiatement invités à venir voir le système de séchage des noisettes. Et puis, bien entendu, la région est superbe.

La colline sur laquelle se trouve la maison est fort venteuse. Durant notre séjour, le vent dominant était assez froid. Donc c'est parfait en cas de canicule ou même simplement de température estivale, mais si la météo est moins favorable, il faut prévoir un pull...

A beautiful place to stay! The hosts are excellent! We felt at home. The view is beautiful and the accommodation is clean and comfortable, very well equiped . Rita Maria and her husband Davide have a lovely, clean, fresh apartment in the Alta Langhe. They are friendly and kind, discussing with us what we wanted to do in the area and different options. Rita Maria is a clothes designer who loves herbs and bio products so that was pleasant to enjoy. We went for a day drive to Calosso to see the rolling hills of vineyards which are so beautiful. We spent another day driving to the ocean port which is about one hour south. A car is necessary in this country area. We had a quiet time cooking in the kitchen which was good for us because we needed planning time to organise our trip ahead, to use the excellent wifi to look at the options online and quietly discuss what we wanted to do for the next month. When we left we went to Merana to do a cooking class organised by lecesarine which is not far away so I have included some photos of that but I understand that Davide is an excellent cook and a class can possibly be requested with him too.
