Apartments A & A

Przyjazna, uśmiechnięta i bardzo gościnna gospodyni, duzo nam pomogła.

Wydaje mi się że cena za apartament zbyt wysoka w stosunku do lokalizacji - daleko do miejsc interesujących wakacjusza (plaży, restauracji, innych atrakcji). Otoczenie industrialne nie pozwala oderwać się od miejskiego klimatu i scenografii. Miejsce dobre jeśli ktos chce tylko "nocować" I wyjeżdżać, najlepiej samochodem, w inne miejsca bliżej przyrody, lub ma na celu trekking w górach.

Friendly welcome in person by Anita and via WhatsApp before arrival. Doggy (sorry didn't did your name!) greets you for a belly rub every time. The flat has everything you need, including two balconies and mountain views. You can also see the sea and islands in the distance. Small two-ring kitchen area and fridge and microwave made self-catering doable for lone traveller. Excellent bathroom with superb shower (make sure you put the hot water on). For a two week stay very good value for money. Air con is very effective in the living room and will quickly bring the whole flat to a survivable temperature without you having to listen to it while you're in bed (as it'snext door). Change of sheets etc provided after a few days. There is a pleasant riverside walk that goes past the main bus stop to the sea. I got around using the Promet Split app for cheaper tickets you scan off your phone on the bus to activate (works about 75% of the time - I did see ticket inspectors on the 27 and 60 routes.) Recommend the 60 bus down to Omiš which has a lovely public beach. My favoured local beach was through Stobreč camp site - really quiet with the excellent Restaurant Horus between it and a really busy main beach for those that like that as well. Podstrana beach area looks busy at night. You must climb the hill in Marjan forest park pre-sunset for spectacular views of Split and the islands, where the Croatian flag flies. 100% recommend Split and this accommodation..

It is on the top floor if you don't like stairs. The TV is mounted at great height. Would be much nicer experience watching the World Cup if it was at a good height and I didn't have to stand up! It's a little too far from the sea to be completely comfortable, with the local bus a 15 minute walk away (due to roadworks) or a 30-40 minute walk. A car would be useful but I don't recommend the Croatian traffic, which is horrendous so please don't add to it.
