The hotel is located right on the front of the bay in a central point near lots of restaurants. The hotel was clean and the staff were all lovely. The facilities were great with a nice spa and rooftop terrace. It was my partners birthday and the staff left a cake, card and bottle of wine in the room which was so lovely!!! The breakfast was great with lots of options and a great view.

Outdoor pool was cold. Some things in the bathroom was fixed with the glue and you can see glue stains on ceramics.

The balcony was a good size.
Turn down didn't turn down but replenished anything we needed OK.
Fan and air con good.
Shower just OK higher flow rate would have been better. .
Car parking OK. Access straight to lift.
The WiFi was Intermittent on all devices in our room
There was a lack of drawers and storage especially given the size of the room

The hot tub took an age to fill & it was extremely loud. I didn't feel I could use it as it was so loud.
The bed had a very low budget mattress which left me with a back ache and counting the days to going home to get a proper and painless night's sleep.
The shower was just OK. A higher flow rate would have been better. .
The noise from the bars was loud on the balcony but tolerable indoors on a high floor. Mostly the noise finished about midnight.
However noise from staff above woke me early every morning.
The rooftop pool area is totally inadequate for the number wishing to use it. We weren't able to get a sunbed all week. It was like sardines in a can up there. We looked at the indoor pool. It was deserted and no wonder It was like a sauna and definitely not healthy. Needless to say it was always empty.
Happy hour is a BOGOF. That is the catch. If you both drink the same it's OK. If you don't you have to buy 2 of each
Also it's not available in bar on level 1?why ?
Finally breakfast. It was generally quite good with a good variety but please please sort out the eggs. Poor quality tasteless eggs undercooked and cold after standing on the surface for some time. The omelette was a joke. A skinny lightweight thing that apparently had cheese in it. This took forever. Every other hotel I've been to has a selection of ingredients to choose for your omelette and is of a reasonable size. Good eggs at breakfast make a holiday for me and a lot of others I understand.
