The apartment is located on the outskirts of Engelskirchen / Wahlscheid, directly on the forest. It can accommodate 2-3 people and has a sep. Entrance with parking, and a terrace with garden. In addition to the large living room, desk, TV and leather sofa, you have a dining area with kitchen, a bathroom with a spacious shower and a large bedroom, where a library is available as a night-reading. Here you can relax in peace and watch the deer and rabbits ...
The apartment is located in a quiet location in a village on the edge of the forest and an adjacent meadow, which is also managed.
Here is also occasionally lawn mowed.
We are available to our guests throughout their stay with questions or planning on leisure activities.

Wahlscheid is a district of Engelskirchen. You are in the middle of the nature of Bergisches Land. If you like nature, you will feel right at home. Are you active in sports and like to go by bike or mountain bike, here you get all the opportunities to live out this passion. There is a garage for your bicycles during your stay.
The oldest Naturfreibad NRWs, which is fed from a spring, is within walking distance.
In the immediate vicinity are div. Castles. These include Schloss Homburg (with regularly changing cultural events) as well as Schloss Ehreshoven and Schloss Gimborn.
Are you a golfer, then use the accessibility of 5 different 18-hole courses in our immediate vicinity. All seats can be reached in about 15 minutes by car.
The nearest shops are in Ründeroth and Engelskirchen.
There is a public bus. The nearest train station is 4 km away. From there, the regional train goes directly to Cologne Central Station. It is about 8 minutes to the motorway junction Engelskirchen (A4).

To answer your question : unfortunately the nearby pool was closed since Sept.30. However all the other aspects of this location were fantastic!! Really beautiful gardenvieuw and surroundings ,green,wooded hills with lots of walkingpaths straight from the house , no industrial or commercial buildings , no noises at all - never did we have such a peacefull holiday !! The accomodation was really comfortable, very good bed... Foreign TV news-channels would have been nice but , honestly, we as fervent readers didn't really miss them. ...Our hosts were very kind and supporting - I'm sure : if we would have lived in the tiny village we would have been friends right from the start ... In short : a unique , wonderful place !!!!Frits and Marjolijn

Voor de tweede keer in korte tijd enkele dagen mogen uitrusten in deze mooi gelegen vakantiewoning. Met een wijds uitzicht, genietend van de vogelgeluiden kom je hier goed tot rust. Zeer moderne badkamer en gezellige woonkamer en keuken. Slaapkamer voldoet ook prima. De verhuurders zijn vriendelijk en gastvrij zonder zich op te dringen. Wij gaan beslist nog een keer terug is ca 2,5-3 uur rijden vanaf Utrecht. Helaas moesten we door privé omstandigheden iets eerder terug.

Wij hebben een paar heerlijke dagen doorgebracht in deze mooie woning in een zeer rustgevende omgeving. Met wandelen en Geocaching hebben we onze tijd doorgebracht, beide was zeer goed mogelijk. Met de trein naar Keulen vanuit Ründeroth was ook zeer goed te doen. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Wir hatten kurzfristig nach einer Ferienwohnung im Grünen gesucht und zum Glück diese schöne, ruhige und sehr saubere Wohnung gefunden. Wir haben uns ab der ersten Minute sehr wohl gefühlt und konnten von dem Ausblick von der Terrasse gar nicht genug bekommen.
Die Wohnung ist top ausgestattet und die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
