Platres Valley Houses

Perfect location if you seek a good price for value accommodation in the southern Trodos region. The apartment houses were no fancy but rather functional and comfortable. We had bunk beds, a well-equipped kitchen with a stove and basic kitchen appliances. There was functioning heating system. The host team was proactive with contacting us on WhatsApp and giving some basic infos about the check in process.

The apartment can run easily out of hot water.

The general experience

I found it a bit hard to turn on the oven

Its clan cozy very quite and in middle of mountain

- Easy communication via WhatsApp before arrival - A nice elderly lady came by to clean; even though we didn’t speak the same language, we understood each other perfectly and she was very kind and helpful - Very quiet location – perfect if you’re looking to relax and disconnect - Parking available right in front of the building (though only a few spaces) - The shared kitchen is okay equipped - Fridge in the room - Overall clean

- The room is small, quite cluttered, and rather dark - The bed is very hard and squeaks with every movement – unfortunately not comfortable for a good night’s sleep - No power outlet near the bed - also just found free socket - The fridge in the room is very noisy - Water pressure in the bathroom is very low, and hot water takes some time - The building and surroundings look a bit run-down and could use some maintenance - No cozy common area available - No shops nearby – bring your own supplies
