About this chalet rental
Views, Views, Views! “The Apres Chalet” Classic Breckenridge ski chalet with the best views of the ten mile range in the peak 7 neighborhood. With 4 bedrooms and 3 baths on a half acre lot, you have more than enough room for everybody including your family pup. The backyard is fully fenced in! Enjoy the hot tub after skiing or hiking and watching the sunset over your fire pit with a glass of wine or cook some s'mores. Far enough away for a true mountain experience, but close enough to town to enjoy all the action when you want. Breckenridge distillery ( with free shuttle) and Broken compass brewery (with free shuttle) are right at the bottom of the neighborhood, as well as a new sledding hill and huge playground with a kids bike park! A 4x4 vehicle is required during winter months not only for our property but also to enjoy Breckenridge and all its epic snow! There is parking for 4 vehicles in the driveway, per Bresk's short term regulations, which is amazing to have and be this close to one of the best ski mountains in North America!
There is not a bus stop or shuttle by the house. You can drive to the free shuttle parking lot at the bottom of the neighborhood (by the sledding hill) for ski access or leave the vehicle and take Uber or Lyft from the home! Lots of hiking right in the neighborhood during the summer months where you are likely to see some wildlife! Dogs are also allowed to enjoy our property. We do have a pet fee of $150/pet, 2 max. Please inform us if bringing your pet and we will add the additional $150 if you are bringing 2 it will be $300. There is also an age requirement of “28” to rent our home.
We have made a few changes with “covid”, please bring your own shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
There will no longer be a pac n play provided, please bring your own or you can purchase one at the Walmart in Frisco.
Our property management company is Felker Services. They will be who you get all your check in info and anything else during your stay. Their number is 970-406-1627.
To light the fire pit, push the gas knob in while lighting and keep doing that for about 20 seconds after it lights.
Bluetooth floodlight provided. Just unscrew the front or back flood light and put this in. Connect to your phone or computer for music! Please replace and put away when you’re finished for the next guest to enjoy!
This is a “pet friendly” property, although thoroughly cleaned , if you have allergies to pet hair this would not be a good fit.

We loved our stay at the Apres Chalet. The location was great, only 10 quick minutes from town and an easy back route to Peak 8. The house was very comfortable and the kitchen really well equipped! We could also walk to some nice hiking trails, less than a mile from the trail head through the neighborhood. The very best part was the view from the living room and master bedroom. The owner and the management company were super responsive, and we really plan to be back soon!

Description of rooms is spot on - plenty of room for us and the desk in the basement bedroom was nice for working remotely for a few days. Kitchen is well appointed. Outdoor spaces were nice as well.

The property was certainly as described and to be honest probably even better! The layout of the house with three bedrooms (one off each level with their own private bath), the space for the dogs on the second level to run on the deck and out into the back fenced yard, and then the VIEWS!! Literally could not have hope for more and even the location was less than seven minutes to anywhere in downtown Breckenridge. Add in getting to see for moose and a black bear that was interested in our trash cans, it just couldn’t have been any better. Thank you Nicole and team!

We stayed at the house for a month this summer - Great location for hiking - beautiful views - very responsive property manager. The inside of the house was clean (pet friendly and obviously responsible pet owners have stayed there). If you just need a place to lay your head at night - this could be the place for you. If you are looking to hang out in the house on comfortable furniture with family, cook big meals or have very small children (2 steep staircases) you may want to look elsewhere. We made the most of our time there, but will not be returning.
