Nautica on Marine Parade by Kingscliff Accommodation

We have stayed here many times mainly due to its location across from the beach and 15 min stroll into town and space in the property. The bedrooms are fine and we noticed there were new mattresses and a new lounge suite.

Disappointing that this time there was no remote for the garage door which meant a convoluted process of finding the right keys to enter the main front door and internal security door to go through the house to press the internal garage door release button in order to drive in. This is the first time this has been the case. Also there was no free to air TV available on either upstairs and downstairs TVs. Apps were available. Repair men came on 2 days and had to replace the aerial and booster. Usually this property is really well stocked, so we didn't bring many extras like salt and pepper, paper towel which were N/A and evidently washing up liquid is not included only dishwasher powder. By the way you need to add rinse aid.

The location across the road from coastal park and beach was excellent. Pity the weather during our stay didn't allow more time to take opportunity of this. The spread of bedrooms was fine for our needs.

Television downstairs and wi-fi access information were either out of date or had been tampered with enough to make them inaccessible. An update on information and plugs might be required to make these things foolproof again.

Location is fabulous. Well equipped kitchen. Gorgeous main bedroom upstairs. Unfortunately, the hot water system packed it in while we were there. One phonecall to the agents and a handyman arrived, followed by the plumbers. They offered temporary accommodation overnight while it was either repaired or replaced, which in fact wasn't required as a small temporary hot water system was quickly hooked up. The next day the permanent water system was installed. Extremely efficient of the agents, owners and the friendly local tradies! Lockup double garage per unit is a bonus.

A couple of lights not working, but hopefully these will be fixed before the next guests arrive! Single beds in the downstairs room need a bit of an overhaul (or replacing!)

Good location, easy to walk to near by shops and beach

Property was very dirty - stains on blankets, sticky floors, dirty bathrooms and dirty cups, cutlery, etc
