Cottage of 24 m2 part of a battisse of three cottages.
Cottage for two people.
It is a gite inaugurated in July 2009 located in ESCOS, pretty village of 200 inhabitants (64270), in the Pyrénées Atlantiques, on the border of the Basque Country, Landes and Béarn.
In a setting conducive to gastronomic ballads and sunbathing on a small pebble beach along the river 5 minutes walk.
All in the region of Salies-de-Béarn with its Baths and Cures, Sauveterre-de-Béarn and Saint Palais, or also 50 kms, you will visit the Atlantic Coast: Bayonne, Biarritz with among other visits the Museum of Chocolate, St Jean-de-Luz, Hendaye (from its marina, behind the Thalassotherapy of Serge Blanco, take the shuttle to reach the other side the Spanish fortified city of Hondarribia). San Sebastian 15 km by car or Topo (Basque train) and its pinxos (tapas). Do not hesitate to ask us for more information.
Take a walk-in 60 km on the coast or on our markets in neighboring villages.
Discover our products and local wines in Béarn des Gaves in a cellar at 11 km. Stroll the markets, smell and taste the products of our land prepared, depending on the season, with the expertise of our farmers or artisans.
A gourmet itinerary will make you appreciate our gastronomy of the South-West: the garbure, the hen with the pot of Henri IV, the confit of duck or goose, the salmi of pigeons, the ham of Bayonne salted with the salt of Salies de Béarn , the Béarnaise andouille sausage, cepes without forgetting the sheep cheese of the Pyrenees, all accompanied by AOC Béarn, Jurançon and Madiran wines.
From June 30 to September 1, the minimum stay is 7 nights, so during these two months, holidaymakers can only enter the premises on Saturday.
