About this house rental
This cozy Pocono Summit Lakeview Cottage features a deck with a lake view out back where you can sit and unwind after a day exploring the area.
Perfect for a few couples, a few friends or a small family looking for a comfortable place to relax and enjoy your time away from the hustle and bustle.
Pocono Summit Lake Estates is a quiet lake neighborhood. This is not a gated community and there are no fees to use the beach area or the lake.
No Pets, No Smoking Inside, No Fireworks and No Parties.
Cell service is good and we are easily found by GPS making your arrival stress free.

The Pocono Premium Outlets are worth checking out if shopping is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's popular attractions can visit Kalahari Indoor Water park, Camelbeach Mountain Waterpark, Aquatopia and Camelback ski resort and there are some amazing golf courses at Pocono Manor and Mount Airy.
Looking to enjoy an event or a game while in town? See what's going on at Mount Airy Casino, Pocono Raceway or have some fun at Summit Lanes Bowling alley.
Aldi's grocery store is 2 blocks from the rental while Wal-Mart, Weis Market, Perkins, Dollar Tree, Ollie's Good Stuff Cheap, Five Below, Brother Bruno Pizza, Golden Dragon Chinese and Planet Fitness are all conveniently located a mile down the road. A laundromat is located 3 miles from the rental in Mt. Pocono.
Close to many major attractions and restaurants.
The space
Two queen beds & a queen size pull out sofa bed accommodates six guests.
There is off street parking for up to 4 cars.
Outside there is a deck, a picnic table, a fire pit with seating, a propane gas grill, propane is included and a partial view of the lake which is about 200 ft away.
The kitchen has most items needed to make a nice meal such as a stove, microwave, air fryer/toaster oven combo, Keurig, dishwasher and refrigerator and blender. There are pots and pans, dishes, glasses and utensils, one roll of paper towels, dish liquid, a few dishwasher pods and a few garbage bags in the kitchen.
Towels, linens, soap, shampoo & conditioner along with four rolls of toilet paper are provided. Please bring any other necessary personal items with you.
Guest access
Entire house and yard.
Lake access within walking distance includes small beach area.
No swimming - No lifeguard on duty. You may swim at your own risk.
You can fish from the shoreline, our lake is catch and release, or there are two boat launch sites. You can bring your own small row boat, kayak or canoe, only electric motors allowed on the lake. Visit Pocono Boat House for rental options.
Interaction with guests
We enjoy meeting and interacting with our guests but are totally respectful of their privacy. We live close by and are available as needed either in person or by phone/text.
Other things to note
There is a Smart TV, you can log into your own Netflix or Amazon Prime account, we also have a Chromecast and a DVD player along with a few movies for guests use.
There's a dart board, giant Jenga and board games.

This was our second time renting this home and it’s always so clean and cozy. It’s a little disappointing that a very large, modern-looking home was built right behind it which now blocks the view of the water but that is no fault of the owners. The lake access is still very easy to get to. That said, I do wonder how much the privacy will be affected. We were outside one day and the maintenance person for the new property was also outside and it was a little awkward. All in all though, there are several amenities for this property that make it an ideal place to stay. My kids loved the games that were provided for us to use, and we used the fire pit a few times. The swing outside is also a favorite for my kids. I noticed the updated living room furniture which gave the home a nice little face-lift. The owners have thought of everything and you truly feel like you’re in your home away from home while there.

We stayed for a week at Jerry and Janet cottage and we had a wonderful time. The house was very clean and comfortable. The location is great, very close to everything you would ever need. The lovely backyard is a complete with a fire place and a swing great for kids. We definitely will be back.

We had a wonderful week at Jerry and Janet's cottage in the Poconos. The house is clean, cozy, and well-located for skiing — only 15 minutes from Camelback and 35 mins from Montage Mountain. It's also less than 5 minutes from a Walmart Superstore and Aldi. Janet and Jerry were great hosts, and were very responsive to our messages. We would definitely stay here again!

The location is perfect. It's in a quiet neighborhood but close to all living essentials. There are a bunch for shops and restaurants without 10mins drive. Camelback mountain resort is around 15mins away. The house is cozy with a fire pit outside which is perfect for friends and family to chill in a cool night.
