La Venelle Saint Jean

The apartment was big, well equipped and very roomy for a couple. The location is the best in town. Note it’s a traditional renovated house from mid-evil times. Parking is 5 min walk. Penny the host was great, checked in on us all the time via messaging and advised restaurants

A lovely apartment on Rue Haute, perfect for exploring the town and heading out West to the Normandy beaches. A large free carpark at Naturospace is an easy walk or drop off on Bd Charles V. Secure entry is from an alleyway between Bd Charles V and Rue Haute. Note access to the upstairs apartment is via a narrow spiral staircase, quite difficult access if you have large cases. Lovely comfortable accommodation with everything you could need for your stay. Penny was amazing. Really helpful, keeping in touch and providing lots of advice on the town, places to eat, etc. We'd highly recommend this accommodation if you want more space than a simple hotel room, we would definitely fancy coming back to a beautiful picturesque town.

Nice ambience, an attractive quirky feel , well located and very quiet, a very comfortable place to stay for a few days. The third floor situation was well signalled and not an issue - we quickly got used to navigating the steps!

We felt the towels and bedding quality were a little disappointing - but everything worked and minor issues were quickly addressed.

Immaculate apartment in the perfect location. Easy free parking just up the road. All the action on your doorstep, but still lovely and peaceful at night
