Was pleasant enough but parking was an issue

Adequate for the cost.

Very dark but that was obvious from the photographs so not unexpected. I think you could improve that though with some artificial lighting it was fair. Un exciting not expensive as Airbnb goes parking facilities were very adequate as I’m disabled that was grateful for that.

Was dark and felt rather cramped, but bedrooms were a better size.

Good value for money but crap internet is serious drawback

Overall value was good despite the drawbacks and was best aspect tbh. Location handy for town centre once you found how to navigate one-way system. Owner immediately responsive on phone. Most facilities modern (accessing 'normal' tv proved beyond me, but that's me...). Clean and well-presented.

Internet was CRAP! Would have been a crisis had I needed to attend an online meeting or had a bored child on a rainy day. On-street parking worked fine for me, but had I had an expensive car, maybe not... Owner sent details of location and keys on the day - couldn't conceive of people without smart phones using their flat! Send day BEFORE please!

Home from home.

Excellent communication and instructions from the owner. Lovely spacious flat, very comfortable, fully equipped kitchen, 2 ensuite bathrooms, great WiFi. Like a home from home for us. Very reasonable price for a family of 4 adults. We will definitely return.

Nothing. There was the odd issue like the sink plug getting stuck and a cracked mug but the owner dealt with those and it wasn't a problem.

Central Oswestry apartment

The location is excellent, as it is next to Sainsbury's, but no dedicated parking is an issue. The flat is a good size for four people. The area is surprisingly quiet despite town centre location. It could have been satisfactory, had it not been for the drawbacks detailed.

No contact from the owner apart from a complacent text message in response to our enquiries regarding the issues highlighted here. The property has an unloved appearance and needs refurbishment and a thorough clean. The T.V. has faults and is not viewable comfortably. The light on the fridge doesn't work and there's no freezer compartment.The plug in the 2nd bathroom doesn't work, so the basin is not useable. The kitchen tap drips incessantly. Overall poor value for money and if an alternative is available, we would prefer this.

The owners have gone to great lengths to provide everything for a comfortable stay.

Everything provided as stated with the bonus of tea, coffee, sugar etc - (it is self-catering accommodation) There is a large Sainsbury’s store close by and when I explained where we were staying they took our car registration number & allowed us free overnight parking. Town centre location.

Only problem was the colour on the TV which made it unwatchable. I expect there is some adjustment on the settings to rectify this but I’m afraid we are no good with technology!

Extremely attractive accommodation. Well equipped kitchen. Stylish, modern apartment. Very clean everywhere and lovely comfortable beds. Very central yet quiet and peaceful. Sainsburys and Iceland both a few steps from appartment.

Limited parking. Can no longer park in the small car park belonging to the property but managed to park along the fence just outside which was perfect. Couldn’t log onto the wifi but only stayed one night so not too concerned.

Could have been a lot better, contact by phone to the owner is essential.

The flat was very cold on arrival, it was clear that the heating hadn't been turned on. I phoned the number provided in the email and on the board in the flat, there was no reply on that occasion or subsequent occasions. There were no instructions in the flat to advise as to how to deal with the heating or anything else for that matter. I emailed the owner and received a reply as to how to turn the boiler on which didn't work nor did the room thermostat. I'm familiar with combo boilers but the pressure was so low on the gauge I wondered if this may have been the cause. I emailed the owner again regarding the pressure and the lack of phone response but received no reply. To add to this the ensuite in the twin bedroom smelled terribly so much so that my children refused to use it. The television needs updating, the picture quality was poor. On a positive note, we went out for the day on the Saturday and returned to a warm flat, the smell in the loo had gone and we had a much better time for the rest of our stay. Whether some one had been in and dealt with the boiler is unknown. I think in future, somebody needs to go in to the flat and deal with any issues prior to guests arrival. An information book would be helpful, you find these in most guest accommodations which helps newcomers to the understand what's in the area where amenities are, restaurants, certain shops and above all Doctor, hospital locations and numbers.

More than I ever imagined!

A hidden gem. I have stayed in apartments before for similar sort of occasions and they all tend to be a little dated and run down. This place was fantastic. Immaculate, comfortable, modern and just a wonderful little place with everything and more. In a perfect location in the town but lovely and quiet even on a Saturday night. I’ll be bringing the husband next time!

The flat was spacious well equipped, comfortable, and in a good location. The showers were very good and it made a great base for exploring the area. The internet seemed to work well.

Based on other reviews we will assume it was just a blip but the flat wasn't as clean as we would expect and most of the kitchenware needed a good scrub. The flat would benefit from its own parking as you cannot always grab a space outside.

Host is very responsive to emails and was mee than happy to sort out early check in. The flat is well laid out as both bedrooms are en suite rather than main bathroom. Kitchen facilities are more than adequate.

I think the cleaning could be improved as there were a few areas that needed a dust/wipe down. I think the owner should also give a better description as to where the flat is as it is a bit misleading looking for it when you get to the destination. We also weren’t told about the metal gates being closed at night so it took a few minutes to find out how they opened.
