Northstar - Old Town Modern, Spacious

Could not be more happy to recommend this property. It has absolutely everything what you need to spend a nice holiday to Brașov. Shops close to the area, flat very well maintained and super clean. Everybody was really happy with it and they have mentioned that they're feeling like home there. I have saved your number and we definitely will meet again.

This is a beautiful property. It is a 13 min walk to city center (Black Church) and has many many convieniences around. There is a grocery across the street and a pharmacy on the corner. I would recommend that you be capable of carrying your luggage up multiple flights of stairs if you rent here. It is very clean. The only issue we had was with a neighbor who accosted us for parking in front of his gate ( I did not know it was not a parking spot). Parking is a challenge. The apartment is very clean and the owner responds very quickly to any messages. I would definitely stay here again. There is a full kitchen downstairs and a washer/dryer combo with soap provided which was very nice as our trip was a long one. Keep in mind the washer is the dryer, so read the manual provided (it is quite cool). The wifi is good and the TV and living area is very large. Overall I really enjoyed our stay here (it was literally the only place my grandmother did not find something wrong with and I booked her in 4 star hotels and private residences the entire trip).

We stayed in the Northstar apartment and it was absolutely beautiful and clean. The furnishings were all modern and really well done. The hosts were exceptional in providing accurate instructions and help when needed. Would definitely stay here again.

Ionut, the property owner, was a huge factor in the experience of staying at this house. He communicated well from beginning to end, and while we were staying there he responded nearly immediately to questions we had about sites, restaurants, and the property. His English is perfect, he genuinely wanted to be helpful. I’ve never experienced anything quite like this. As for the property: Both apartments are part of the same home (upstairs and down), and my family rented the entire house. The apartments were the cleanest rentals we have ever experienced. The kitchen is well set up for cooking, and there were plenty of basics for cooking (oil, flour, sugar and even coffee). Both units have AC, which was needed for part of our stay. The house is quiet. It is on a grassy courtyard off the street, and there was little to no street noise (only the usual Romanian roosters in the morning). The apartments are roomy and could easily sleep 10 people by using the sleeper sofas and a room set up for younger children. Both upstairs and downstairs have balconies and plenty of screened windows. The house is located in the Schei district, which is a pleasant 10 minute walk from the main square. The square in Schei, a one minute walk, has a surprising number of shops selling all the food items you may need. One specializes in produce, and one focuses on meat, though they all sell some produce and meats. There is also a good restaurant and a cafe on the square. There is a parking spot on the street that Ionut keeps open for guests. We would definitely both recommend these apartments and we would stay there again. The kitchen is set up to be shared, and that may be awkward if you don’t know the people staying in the other apartment if you don’t have them both. The washer/dryer is off the kitchen (and it works well). Ionut is awesome.
