About this house rental
Granary Barn is one of 5 stunning barn conversions here at Helscott Barns. A spacious master bedroom with a high vaulted ceiling and beams. Twin room with custom made cabin beds is great for children. The bathroom features a bath with shower. Follow the stairs up to the open plan lounge and kitchen.The lounge has a gorgeous view from the stable door out over the rural countryside and you can even see the sea. In the kitchen you will find everything you need for a homeaway from home. The garden can be accessed through the side gate and is a great spot to enjoy a summer BBQ. Complete with private hot tub which can be added by arrangement (£125 surcharge payable directly)
Dogs are accepted by prior arrangement (£35 per dog)
We also have a 3 acre field for all guests at Helscott Barns to enjoy during their stay, whether its a family game of rounders, enjoying a glass of wine as the sunsets or giving the dog a run around we are sure you will enjoy it.
The Granary is only 5 minutes drive from the wide open space of Widemouth Bay with its surfing and famous rock pools,voted by children as one of the best in England.
Bude is a quaint seaside town 4 minutes drive away with good shops,pubs and restaurants not to mention the canal path and unique sea lock and town beaches.
We are a short walk away from the coast path, pubs and cycle paths, easy access to the major attractions of the west country and with our local knowledge can help you to discover the secret beaches and best places to see.
Please note that all cottages rent only on a weekly basis in peak periods with a Friday start for Granary, Acorn ,Ivy and Saturday for Rose and Oak,short breaks available September to June.

We were made to feel very welcome by our hosts & immediately felt at home.
The property had plenty of space for 4 people & 2 dogs and had everything we required, with the added bonus of the hot tub.
The location is ideal for getting to beaches, entertainment and pubs/restaurants.

We managed to find a Wednesday to Wednesday stay which suited us perfectly. The accommodation was perfect for us. Our 11 month puppy was taking her first holiday and this was a perfect location for it. The site, the house (Granary) and the hot tub is just what we needed. The Easter eggs left on Easter Sunday were a lovely touch and our boys loved them. Overall it was a lovely stay and we’d recommend it to families and those with dogs particularly (but certainly not exclusively).

Brilliant location for a winter getaway to the wild Atlantic coast - Bude is a lovely town and Boscastle and Widemouth are perfect places to wander for a short stay. We also visited St. Juliot's church to see the famous Thomas Hardy window. The hosts were excellent, communication great and the place was exactly as described - comfortable, warm and just right for a family.
