A good place to stay if you're travelling on a budget. It's reasonably close to the city centre, although the location itself isn't particularly remarkable. Check-in and check-out were both quick and hassle-free. The apartment is spread over two levels, which I thought gave it a lot of character. Going up and down the stairs creates a cosy, distinctive atmosphere. However, this layout may not be suitable for guests with reduced mobility or anyone who finds climbing stairs difficult.

The location shown on Google Maps is inaccurate. The apartment is actually much farther into a residential area of Banja Luka. Please update the location marker so that it reflects the correct address. The apartment would benefit from a more thorough cleaning. It has the potential to be a pleasant place to stay, but it needs to be kept cleaner and better maintained. The rooms contain a lot of unnecessary furniture, which makes the space feel more cramped than it needs to.

The owner was the absolute best. A very friendly and helpful man who goes out of his way to make your stay in Banja Luka a great experience. Gave us tips and directions for sights, restaurants, banks and hot springs. The apartment is located above a mini-market the owner runs during the day. Fresh and local produce is available there. Very practical and well-priced. In about 15 minutes you walk to the center. The location is great, because it is not as busy as the center of the city, yet within walking distance of everything you might need and want to see. The apartment is spacious and dated. Bit like entering a time capsule to grandma's time. It has its charm for sure and we had a great stay for a very good price in a great location. Private parking on terrain, very very useful!

Because the apartment is rather dated, it is not the cleanest. Even if you would give it a good scrub, it would likely appear a little off as it is just old. We are not on holiday in the Balkans for luxury and know that with old places come some trade-offs, so we had our expectations low. But it might not be for everyone. The towels provided had a smell of cigarette smoke and using the shower in the old bathtub is a bit of a challenge. But it works and it got us clean, so we are happy. No functioning airconditioning. It was warm, in the evening we opened the windows in an attempt to cool the place down a bit to sleep well.

Hôte sympathique, prix faible, logement grand, motos en sécurité dans le jardin, pas trop loin du centre ville à pied.

La propreté laisse beaucoup à désirer, notamment dans la salle de bains et au niveau des fauteuils. les moquettes sont d'époque et jamais nettoyées. Le mobilier de jardin ne fait pas envie, la clim est très bruyante et inefficace.
