Gio Toscana

We loved everything about our stay at Gio Toscana. Gio and the team were incredibly welcoming and helpful with thoughtful recommendations for things to do in the area - restaurants, wine tours, beaches, lakes, towns and day trips. The apartment was beautifully furnished, catering to all our needs and the pool was lovely to relax in after a hot day sightseeing. If you can, do the famous Bistecca dinner - it was amazing.

This is a luxury stay on a working farm in the Tuscan countryside. A perfect place to recharge, absorb yourself in nature, enjoy well-behaved animals (a highlight), wander trails and olive groves on the estate, and take in the breathtaking views. The apartment was well appointed with everything needed (and more) and thoughtfully decorated with art and antiques to create a sumptuous feeling of coming home. Gio and Patrick are outstanding hosts - this point cannot be over emphasised. The warmth of their hospitality and generosity with their time was an unexpected pleasure. A visit to House of Gio is not something you need to think hard about - just get your passport and go! Gio and Patrick have already taken care of the details, from the comprehensive welcome pack to the flexible check in and check out times, when possible. This was my first visit and certainly not my last. House of Gio has my highest recommendation.

My only regret was that I didn’t book a longer stay. A car is helpful if you want to explore the surrounding area - a point clearly explained in the detailed welcome pack - but not necessary to have a relaxing and fabulous time. I did not have one.
