Casa Da Baixa

Basic stay in the centre of town. Has microwave, fridge, toaster, coffee machine, basic supplies such as sugar and salt. Great communication with the host,,who facilitated late check-in when our flight was delayed 2 hours and meant we arrived after midnight. Nice easy walk to a great supermarket. Would happily stay here again. 5 stars!

The Casa exceeded our expectations. The photos posted online did not do it justice. The Casa is on a quiet, clean street within a few minutes walk to the old city, restaurants and grocery stores. It is extremely convenient. The entire Casa is newly renovated with a stove, fridge, microwave and all utensils and linens are provided. There is a dining table that sits four. The two bedrooms have a queen bed each, and the upper room has a little balcony to sit at. The shower has good pressure. There is great wifi available throughout the Casa. The entire Casa was absolutely wonderful. The street and area it is at is very safe. As two women, we walked around the town and came home late each night and felt extremely safe. Communication with the host was prompt and professional. I would recommend and definitely stay here again!

The Casa is for older visitors, age ten and up, due to the upper room being open to the stairs going down. There is no handrail on the stairs, which would be a bonus as the stairs are a beautiful granite. Younger kids may fall if playing around. I did notice a box for a baby playpen, as long as the baby is not old enough to climb stairs.

Property was clean and in excellent location.
