Motel "Park" / "Luxor" is located very centrally within Visoko, reasonably priced and has a good basic equipment. My room was clean and quiet. It is located 200 meters from the bus terminal and almost opposite the (much more expensive) Hotel Piramida Sunca, where most of the excursions to the pyramids / sights start and end. Is a good budget alternative for that hotel. The staff is friendly, but not all staff members speak English. Absolutely worth its price.

The balcony was (in contrast to the room) not cleaned, there was mineral dust, rubble and bird droppings, but at least I had a balcony. Not all rooms in the house have a balcony. And: Let the staff explain to you how to get into the house after 11 pm so you do not stand in front of a locked door at night.

Apparently the motel does not cater for breakfasts as it is their second ‘job’, however they went to the trouble of fulfilling my wish for 4 scrambled eggs in butter daily and lent me a jumper which I’d forgotten to pack for the duration. They were also very friendly to the point of being like family…. WiFi was brilliant.

There were aspects of the motel that could have been brought up to spec but had not been done. As I don’t know how long they’ve been in management there I can’t comment but the things I needed were of good standard. I had hoped to meet other people at breakfast or at some point there but it was not amenable to that and seemed mainly to have staff or local people living there.
