The stunning views from this well laid out property enriched our stay, we slept with the blinds up so we could appreciate the view every waking minute. The wrap around view had us in awe as we watched how the sunlight and the clouds changed the palette, from crimson and pink skies to golds and yellows to every tone of blue, the moods of the sky diluted and strengthened by the tonal range of greys. All these colours creating a new depth of visual delight in the mountains, valleys, buildings and trees. And when darkness descended, the 3 towns came alive in a twinkling sea of fairy lights - just magical, we sat with the lights off so we could really appreciate the beauty and peacefulness.The glass box was the hub of our stay, lounging lazily around, sharing sumptuous meals at the dining table cooked in an easy to use kitchen, that held everything we needed, having a chef and pastry cook in our group we really tested its limits - it passed with flying colours, at times there were 5 of us in the kitchen with freedom to move around easily. The bedrooms were situated perfectly, as others turned in for the night those that stayed up didn’t feel the need to adjust their volume, the bedrooms were adequately separated to give everyone a noise buffer zone. With 3 bathrooms and toilets no one was caught out. The gardens are stunning. The wildlife a delight to watch. To sum up a magnificent Australian setting one can only use words stolen from The Castle- “How’s the serenity!”
