Axa apartment

Am revenit cu mare drag la Axa apartament și ne bucurăm că am regasit aceeasi atmosfera placuta si aceleasi conditii excelente ca prima data. Apartamentul este curat si bine intretinut, zona este linistita si aproape de plajă iar terasa este în continuare un loc minunat pentru relaxare. Proprietarul – la fel de amabil și atent ca prima dată. Comunicarea perfectă, fără nicio problemă. O experiență plăcută din toate punctele de vedere – ne-am simțit ca acasă. Recomandăm din nou cu încredere și cu siguranță vom reveni!

Mamaia!

Very nice terrace , clean and cossy .near to the beach ,very good equipped.

Without a doubt the selling point for this apartment is the large, private, rooftop terrace, offering outside dining, sun loungers and lots extra space and fantastic views of the sky. We bought a paddling pool which really allowed us to make full use of the sunbathing privacy of the terrace. The apartment was clean, compact and very nicely furnished with a large fridge, a kitchen, washing machine, a great shower and very comfy bed. There was plenty of cleaning products and extra linens in the apartment and some washing detergent too! Netflix and Prime TV were available on both the lounge and bedroom flat screen TV's, a very nice added bonus! The apartment is secure and requires a smart key fob or code to gain entrance. The roads around the apartment are in better shape than in most areas as they have tarmac whilst most others are simply dirt roads. There is parking with the apartment and it is situated within 5 minutes of the beach, there is also a ATM located just outside the building. Our host, Cat was very willing to show us the apartment before we decided to book, and he tried to help us secure another property after our booking with him had ended. He allowed us to have the keys the night before to allow us plenty of time to relocate from the hotel to the apartment.

Firstly we didn't like having to leave and relocate however, this is not the host's fault as the apartment is well sought after and was booked in advance and this is testament to how difficult it is to find a similar great apartment! There are 3 flights of stairs to get to the apartment, so carrying suitcases and heavy items is a challenge. The view is spoiled by building works but again this is not unique to this apartment as Mamaia is full of building works. There was no welcome pack, in particular bottles of water which was a surprise and a great disappointment, this was made worse by a local mains pipe being damaged and us having no water for long periods over 2 days. We would have like to have been kept updated on the progress of the repairs particularly as when we phoned Cat he said that he had asked the builders and was informed that the water was turned off again the next day until 3pm, it would have been favourable if he had shared that first hand knowledge with us or even offered some water to see us through. The kitchen was very nice, clean and modern however it lacked a lot of cooking utilities. For example a small saucepan would have been useful, along with a colander, large serving/slotted spoon and some sharp knifes, there were knives available but all were so dull that we bought our own in the shopping mall to use, also some salt and pepper, tea and some coffee (basics) would have been appreciated too. Whilst there are other shops within walking distance the small mini market next to the property was closed.
