Excellent, secure location, right in the heart of buzzing Florentine neighborhood. The apartment is spacious for a couple. It is a studio with a generous first floor (kitchen, LR and half bath), a cute porch, and a bedroom + bonus office and full bath at the top. There is plenty of art, some of it original, around and lots of accessories making it feel homely. Lots of coffee and tea supplies available.
The place is rather dark, even with shades fully open. The shower is odd and uncomfortable. Getting the key requires a lot of coordination -- but the reason is that there are two separate codes and doors to get into the building. It's worth the hassle.

Communication with the owner was very good, he met us outside and told us of local attractions and explained the setup of the apartment. The house is on 2 floors and artistically decorated with a lovely welcome gift. The living area and kitchen were very comfortable and well equipped. Quiet at night.
The bed was firmer than we like and the bathroom was very small but manageable. Noisy because of building works going on during the day.
