Armony Residence Holiday Apartment 2

This was my favorite place in the Seychelles by far! It is located up the mountain but extremely good reachable by bus! The owner is lovely and provides you with everything you need and answers all of your questions! Once I arrived I got a little briefing on how to get to the best beaches and where to hike. She even gave my a bus card I could use! The place itself is even more than “European standard “regarding cleanliness, interior, WiFi etc.meaning it is perfectly clean and decorated with love for detail! The view from the balcony is amazing and I couldn’t get enough of watching the sundown there every night! The communication with the hosts is wonderful ( what’s app) and there is a little shop where you find all the basics right around the corner! I can 100 percent recommend staying at Armony residence and I will be sure to come back if I Visite the Seychelles ever again! Thank you for everything! It was my pleasure!

This location is very special for various reasons. One the property is run by a local who gave such genuine advice on locations to visit so that my partner and I would enjoy our stay. she was available to help at any point and gave us the number for a cheaper/reliable cab when we left the residence. We travelled by bus from this location, unfortunately the buses are not completely reliable, I would recommend that if you have a licence it's absolutely worth getting a car to travel around. Otherwise bus and cab is also a good alternative, we mainly used the bus to go to various beached and hiking trails and there was no problem just long waiting times. The best part of this location was the view, my partner and I would spend at least 2 hours every morning sitting in the sun looking out on the island listening to the birds. Our host was punctual and completely safe, you can tell she genuinely cares about the people she is hosting. I would definitely recommend this location to people coming to visit the island.

Spotless clean, beautiful view, well equipped.

The host didn’t answer to our message until she wanted something. We were asked to check in early because she had appointment. We were asked to pay by cash so she doesn’t need to pay the commission (with ridiculous exchange rate! Would be almost 30€ more for the stay!) in the end after discussion we paid by card. We were told around 10 times that we are lucky to pay so little because of her problems with booking.com. Very unprofessional behaviour. If the host has problems with booking.com I would recommend to speak directly with them, not with the guests. And the cherry on the cake: in facilities in our booking it’s written that the place provides toilet paper. After we run out and ask for another roll she said she doesn’t have to provide it and we have to buy it ourselves. Which is fine but not on Saturday at 7.00 am. She could at least sell it to us. It was one of my worst experience with a manager in a place. I am a hotel manager myself and I would never treat my guests this way.
