Our stay at Gran Caribe was perfect. Our 3BR unit was very spacious for 4 adults, two kids. Our unit was easily the nicest decorated of any other previous VRBO stay. The balcony was large and overlooked the pool and ocean (great for coffee and reading in the morning).
Location was a perfect distance from both downtown San Pedro (20min ride south) and Secret Beach (30min ride North). We utilized the pool and swim up bar frequently but did not use the beach (less inviting). Gran Caribe staff were attentive and helpful. We were able to arrange some boating adventures directly from their pier. Golf cart rental was seamless and convenient.
My only recommendation would be for units to have large water cooler jugs/spouts instead of having visitors buy smaller water bottles and jugs (especially when there doesnt seem to be recycling on the island). Our subsequent Caye Caulker stay unit had large water cooler jugs and we could just refill our own water bottles = far less waste.

We planned a last-minute trip to Belize and this was the perfect place to stay! We enjoyed the proximity to the airport and downtown San Pedro. Not too close, but not too far! The view of the pool and ocean were dreamy and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The staff, from the housekeepers to the security, were all very friendly and helpful! We loved our stay in Belize!

Perfect for our biannual girls trip! We easily rented a golf cart (it needed some work) through the resort. The staff was attentive when needed. The pools were great.

The condo and accommodations were excellent. Very comfortable for 2 families (4 adults and 3 kids). Spacious, clean and beautiful view of the ocean. The property is beautiful. We will definitely be back!
