This three-bedroom, two-bathroom second floor apartment is situated inside the medieval city walls of the old town of Annecy, just inside the Perrière gate. Spread over 92m², it is set up to welcome six guests.

The decor has funky contemporary touches and there are subtle references to swans throughout. Real swans are to be found just down the road, on the canals and the lake. Bedrooms are spacious, there is lots of storage space, and a great open plan kitchen/dining lounge space.

All in all, we think you and your group will be as enthusiastic as we are about this amazing property! Enjoy!

Please note there is no lift in this ancient building, and there are 32 steps from street level to the front door of the apartment. There is no A/C system per se, but standing fans with a cooling system that helps during eventual heat waves.

SECURITY DEPOSIT
We require a security deposit of €1,000 via a pre-authentication of your credit or debit card, which does not affect your card balance. The pre-authentication will be released as soon as we’ve checked the property and confirmed there is no damage. This is normally done right after your stay, but it could take up to 14 days after your departure.

If you cancel your booking and are due a refund, we will deduct any third party payment processing or foreign exchange fees related to the booking that we have been charged from the amount refunded.

We truly enjoyed our stay in Annecy! This apartment is located in Annecy’s “old town,” making it very convenient to explore the city each day. It was beautifully decorated, spacious for our group, and had very comfortable beds. The host was extremely helpful and responsive. Upon check-out, he personally thanked us and asked for suggestions to improve future stays. Thank you!

We absolutely loved our stay. What a special place with brilliant hosts! The apartment itself is perfect: well-stocked, perfectly clean, and beautifully presented. Check-in and check-out were easy, and we were warmly welcomed by the host. The location is incredibly central. There was some noise at night, as expected for such a central location, but we were happy to accept this trade-off given the convenience. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Fabulous location, so easy to get around. A very unusual building, well appointed, we all enjoyed the stay. We all had a fabulous day out hiring bikes and riding right around the lake, quite a few stops, swimming, enjoying the scenery and having a meal. Perfect!

This flat was perfect for our short stay in Annecy. It was well located right in the center and convenient for visiting everything we wanted to see. The flat felt spacious, and we appreciated having two bathrooms. As others have mentioned, it was very hot during our stay in August, and due to the noise, we couldn’t open the windows. Fans were provided, which helped, but the heat was still a bit much—a small price to pay for staying in such a central and historic building! The host was very welcoming, met us upon arrival, and was very flexible with our arrival time. Overall, a lovely stay, and we would stay again.

Wonderful apartment in the thick of old town. Just steps from all the hot spots for travel photography. We have travelled extensively throughout France and wanted to have the experience of “living” (for a week), in the center of old town. This place delivered. The photos and description are accurate. The apartment is a surprisingly quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle right outside the street entrance. Clean and well appointed. The owner was excellent with communication and offered lots of local info and recommendations. The apartment came with an off site parking spot (a 5min walk - uphill) which was nice and somewhat handy, but challenging at times with how tight the spot was (we had a Peugeot 3008). We loved Annecy, but would not need to spend a full week there again. 3 days would be sufficient from our perspective.

Our stay in Annecy was magical. It started with our host Laurent (we did not communicate with OVO Network, just Laurent). He was super helpful. He met us at the garage and even helped carry my bag up the stairs. He explained everything clearly and sent us to a fantastic restaurant — Le Chalet. The next day, we biked around the lake and enjoyed the beautiful villages and cool water. The apartment is beautiful, very clean, nicely updated with everything we needed (including juice and jam for the morning and several much-needed fans) and in the perfect location — the heart of the old village and above the best gelato store in town! Thank you for your hospitality, Laurent. We hope to return to Swansdoors — I will bring a lighter bag next time!

Our stay at Le Swansdoors was amazing! Laurent want very friendly, cooperative, and easy to work with. He provided lots of information about the apartment and the town. The property was very clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The location is amazing because it was right in the middle of all of the action. That being said, it could be a little noisy in the late evening. We were quite hot without air conditioning, as June was unseasonable hot this year, but there were room fans which helped. The owner didn't want the window open because of flies and there weren't screens. It was nice to have a washer/dryer in the unit. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it absolutely.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful apartment nestled within the medieval city walls of Annecy's old town, just inside the Perrière gate. The location is truly unbeatable. Over the years we have rented many vacation homes, and this is easily the nicest, best located apartment we've found! Right in the heart of Old Town Annecy, we could walk to everything we wanted (e.g., fresh pastries, ice cream, shops, and restaurants). And the in-unit laundry, dishwasher, and three bedrooms made a week-long stay for our group of 5 was very comfortable. The unit's parking spot also was a short uphill walk from the apartment.In addition to enjoying all that Lake Annecy has to offer, we visited Geneva (an hour away) and Lyon (2 hours away), and we had a wonderful day of spring skiing in Chamonix (an hour away, plus some with traffic). Views from the ski lifts were spectacular!Thank you, Laurent, for being so easy to reach and for providing such helpful recommendations. (And so sorry for misplacing your key ring!)Highly recommend this place!
