About this house rental
Enjoy the beauty and relaxation of this beautiful lake home in the scenic hills of Central New York. The best swimming, fishing (especially bass & walleyes), kayaking are right off your own large dock. While sitting on your very comfortable dock and deck furniture you can enjoy the amazing sunrises and observe the local wildlife which includes: bald eagles, loons, geese, herons, and ducks. Kayaks, row boat, paddle board, paddle boat, and canoe for your use. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate motor boats at our Lakehouse due to the fact it is a private lake and there is not a public launch. The lake house is located on a secluded road which is great for walking, riding bikes, or jogging. Bonfire pit and wood provided for bonfires. The house is fully furnished with newer furniture. Two full sectionals, flat screen tvs, newer mattresses: one king, three queens, two twins, and all linens provided. Plenty of dishes, pots and pans. Keurig available. Cable, internet, and wi fi provided. Great place for family fun or just a relaxing getaway. The Blue Canoe, a casual restaurant , is located at the north end of the lake. Beautiful fall foliage. Winter sports include: ice fishing, skiing, snowmobiling, etc. Graduations and special events at Syracuse University, Colgate, Morrisville, Hamilton, and Cazenovia College are all nearby. Available for all seasons. Rates maybe negotiable depending on length of stay and time of year. Special rates for couples for get away times.

What a fantastic stay! Karol (the host) is very easy to communicate with. The house was stocked with everything you could need and very clean.Homey, very comfortable, perfect for our group and a GORGEOUS setting.

We had a wonderful family vacation. The whole experience was everything we had hoped for. Swimming with the platform to jump from. Fishing with so many catches we lost count. The fire pit for s’mores. The downstairs in the evening for adult time playing cards and laughing. Plenty of room to spread out. Karol was super easy to work with. Would strongly recommend this place to family and friends.

We were looking for a place to stay because our son was getting married in the area. Karol's place was perfect for our family. There were 6 adults and 3 children ages 3 and under.
While we didn't have much time to appreciate just how wonderful the house is, the time that we did have was perfect. The house is very spacious and has everything you will need. You could not ask for a better location. The lake is beautiful. We loved being able to use the kayaks that come with the property (life jackets of all sizes were also available to use). There is even a floating dock. Karol was great to work with and even mailed me a few items that were left at the house. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway, this is the place for you.
