About this bed and breakfast
THE 2 BRM self contained unit is under neath our home, totally seperate with a private entrance .
Located in a quiet cul de sac and boasting massive sea views lobbsters Lodgings could not be better placed for your stay. The unit provides the modern day traveller a relaxed beach experience.
THE GOOD LIFE
The world is running out of places like Gisborne, this is pure New Zealand. Walk to the water and dive for crayfish, cast a line for snapper or grab a board for a paddle. You will soon understand the draw of New Zealands hidden gem.
THE BEACH
Wainui Beach is a small settlement located 8 km to the east of Gisborne city centre.
The beach is one of the NZ Automobile Association's 101 Must do places for Kiwis because of its consistent surf breaks and beautiful white sand.
Most days you will feel like its a private beach as you stroll in seclusion, while during new years the beach comes to life with the Rhythm and Vines festivities bringing guests from around the country.
Located seconds from the sand, there are a variety of beach, reef and point surf breaks. If that's not for you, the beach is also perfect for a picnic, safe swimming with a near by surf lifesaving club, wonderful walks and near by dive spots.

Visiting hours between 10am -10.00pm .NOT STRICT Please check in with property owners.
Any unregistered guests found on the property without permission will result in an extra change.
Toddlers are not free unfortunately as they need to shower and use ammenities such as extra towels, toilet paper , and bedding .
Please book them in as a guest .
NO parties .
Any visitors found at the property without the registered guest will also result in a penalty .
Please be mindful we are on tank supply and to be careful with water usage.
We unfortunately don't allow for pets.
Extras: Cleaning (Required, NZ$70.00 per stay); Linen (included); extra linen is available for charge .

We had a lovely stay in Wainui beach. The home was perfectly situated close to the beach, and within walking distance of a great little coffee shop. The hosts were incredibly helpful and accommodating.

Lovely stay, so close to the beach and 5 mins drive from the shops. Very welcoming hosts who are around but not intrusive. Will return.

Kate and Anton's place was exactly what we were looking for. The check in process was clear and felt very casual and trusting. The kitchen was well equipped and stocked, ready for cooking with our own food. Despite Kate and Anton living just above, it felt private yet friendly. Recommend for those looking for a spot close to the surf, an indoor space to chill and for those who will do a bit of self-catering.

Lovely beach! Wainui beach and Gisborne make for a fantastic holiday destination. We will definitely stay here again.
