About this chalet rental

We rent our chalet of 135m2 for 9 persons with 3 double rooms and a fourth that opens on the common area on the 1st floor. Very beautiful cathedral lounge facing south. 1 double bedroom on the ground floor with a bathroom and laundry room. On the first floor 3 bedrooms, one of which opens onto the common area of the first floor. Baby bed available. Bathroom with large corner bath and shower. The chalet is located at the start of the hiking and mountain biking trails but remains less than 5 minutes from Gerardmer town centre. High quality bedding and absolute calm. Heated pool from Easter if the temperature is above 15. Near 3000m2 of land around the chalet. Strategically located less than 2.5km from the skilifts which makes it much quicker to hit the slopes than if you have to take the shuttle from the city centre at peak season.

Excellente propriété très bien située. Proche de la navette pour le ski alpin et logement située hors de la foule, proche du ski de fond, des raquettes et de la luge. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à 7.

Nous avons passé 3 supers journées entre amis malgré le temps froid et pluvieux. Le chalet est très bien équipé et adapté pour un séjour avec des enfants. Seul bémol les enfants qui dorment sur la mezzanine sont réveillés très tôt par le jour....

Points positifs=châlet situé à proximité de Gerardmer dans une zone calme et peu dense. Chemins de promenade directement accessibles depuis le châlet Le châlet est grand lumineux et convenablement équipé. La personne qui nous a accueilli était aux petits soins. Il nous a changé la bouteille de gaz vide le premier soir à plus de 21h. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour au cœur des montagnes et de la nature. Points à améliorer=il faut à mon sens investir quelques euros pour entretenir ce bien. Rénover ou changer le revêtement de terrasse en bois (lames en mauvais état) Acheter des rideaux ou stores occultants sur la partie haute de la baie vitrée, afin que les personnes qui dorment dans la mezzanine à l'étage, ne soient pas dérangées par le soleil le matin. Changer les mécanismes de volet défectueux. Réparer la vmc dans la salle de bain qui était très bruyante et que nous avons dû couper manuellement chaque nuit. Faire l'appoint en couverts tasses et assiettes (3 tasses à café pendant notre séjour). La table à manger est plus adaptée à un groupe de 6 personnes que de 8. Acheter 2 ou 3 vraies chaises supplémentaires afin que tout le monde puisse s'asseoir convenablement. Acheter un ou 2 fauteuil pour le côté salon afin que tout le monde puisse profiter de cet espace. Bref investissez pour que ce châlet ressemble davantage aux belles photos prises il y a quelques années et que le prix demandé soit totalement légitime.

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la très belle vue sans vis a vis du chalet sur les montagnes vosgiennes. L architecture du chalet est moderne et très lumineux avec ses grandes baies vitrées. Notre fille a fait de la luge devant le chalet et les pistes de ski de fond sont devant le chalet

Superbe chalet baigné de lumière, la vue est splendide ! Equipé tout confort : cuisine, lits et sdb au top. Situé à quelques mètres des chemins de randonnées et accès en quelques minutes aux pistes. Parfait pour les amoureux de la nature. Nous reviendrons l'été pour profiter de la vue depuis la terrasse, merci pour ce beau séjour !

Mooie woning op een toplocatie, tegen een natuur/wandel gebied maar ook op 10 min rijden van Gerardmer. Een minpuntje was het geluid van van de zwembadpomp, als die uitstond was het nog idyllischer door het geluid van het nabijgelegen beekje. Verder had er van ons wel een afscheiding, een gordijn of wandje, gemogen voor de bedden die boven op de overloop waren (wij waren met 9) . Maar nogmaals, behalve die puntjes, een topweek gehad in een geweldig huis!

Wir verbrachten mit 4 Erwachsenen und 3 Teenagern 2 wunderbare Wochen im Chalet von Charles. Wir erfreuten uns an der ruhigen Lage mit dem wunderbaren Ausblick und der dennoch nur kurzen Entfernung nach Geradmer, wo in nicht mal 10 Autominuten alle Geschäfte und der See zu erreichen sind. Charles hatte sich im Vorfeld sehr bemüht, unsere deutschen Spezialwünsche bezüglich der Bettdecken zu erfüllen und war auch so jederzeit für uns auf deutsch und englisch erreichbar. Das Haus ist sehr großzügig gestaltet und sauber, es gibt genug Geschirr und Töpfe für Selbstversorger und man kann direkt von der Haustür aus loswandern. Auch gibt es für Fahrradfahrer viele ausgeschilderte Touren. Die Qualität des Internets war selbst für 3 gleichzeitig daddelnde Teenager und einen Fire-TV-Stick ausreichend! Das Lounge-Sofa auf dem Balkon haben wir sehr genossen und durch das überdachte Teilstück konnte man immer einen Schattenplatz finden. Wir kommen bestimmt nochmal wieder, im Winter gibt es ja Abfahrts- und Langlaufmöglichkeiten gleich um die Ecke.

Nous avons passé une semaine des plus agréables dans ce magnifique chalet pendant nos vacances de ski à Gérardmer. Cette propriété est située dans un environnement très calme, bien isolé vis-à-vis du voisinage, et surtout le cadre est magnifique avec une vue directe sur les montagnes. Le chalet est très bien accommodé, avec une cuisine super-équipée, une grande salle de bain, tout l’équipement pour laver le linge ; le poêle à bois chauffe efficacement toute la bâtisse, le salon est très grand avec une grande baie vitrée, une terrasse aménagée pour l’apéro. Bref, tout le confort nécessaire pour se sentir comme chez soi. Concernant la localisation du chalet, il faut à peine 5 minutes en voiture pour rejoindre le centre de Gérardmer et profiter de la gastronomie locale. Nous avons adoré, et nous reviendrons très certainement pendant la période estivale.

La description du logement correspondait à l'annonce. De ce côté là, aucune surprise. A noter cependant que nous vous déconseillons de prévoir de faire dormir des enfants dans les 3 lits d'une personne situées dans la mezzanine car la mezzanine donne directement sur le séjour-salon-cuisine (impossible donc pour les enfants d'y dormir,trop bruyant). Par ailleurs la communication avec le propriétaire est très difficile. Il faut de nombreux mails pour connaître l'adresse exacte, les modalités d'entrée et de sortie, .... Le code Wifi nous a été transmis le soir de notre 2ème jour de notre arrivée après plusieurs demandes (concierge, proprio, ...). ATTENTION également, des frais de ménage très importants sont demandés en dernière minute et si vous faites vous même le ménage à la perfection (confirmée par la conciergerie), des frais de désinfection vous sont quand même retirés de votre caution (véridique et ce n'est pas annoncé dans l'annonce; normalement ces frais sont à charge du propriétaire, pas du locataire) . Par information, nous avons eu des coupures d'électricité de plusieurs heures durant notre séjour lié au chauffage du chalet .

Nous avons passé deux magnifiques journées à moins de 5 minutes des pistes en voiture et loué nos skis en bas des pistes. La vue est incroyable mais malheureusement, nous n'avons pas eu le temps de profiter de la terrasse. Nos filles ont adoré le chalet, les propriétaires ont mis des livres pour enfants et pour adultes. Tout est en parfait état et très bien agencé. Nous re-louerons le chalet au printemps pour profiter de la piscine.

Met gezin 14 dagen vakantie gevierd in dit geweldig compleet ingericht huis. Van alle gemakken voorzien op een prachtige plaats in een geweldig mooie omgeving. We werden hartelijk ontvangen door de conciërge van de eigenaar en alles was schoon. Een leuk plaatsje waar van alles te zien is en leuke winkeltjes. Binnen 5 minuten sta je in het centrum. Bij het San Remo restaurant geweest en heerlijk pizza en pasta gegeten een echte aanrader, ook La Fabriqeu is een heerlijk restaurant om voor weinig geld goed te eten. Tijdens ons verblijf was er een vuurwerk show in Geramer bij het meer een geweldig spectakel en schitterend mooi. Verder zijn de plaatsen La Bresse en Colmar leuke plaatjes om te gaan bezoeken ook zeker een aanrader roddelen in Col de La Schlut. De waterval van Bouget en een rondje varen of waterfietsen op het meer zijn ook zeker aanraders. Fijn contact gehad met de eigenaar wat zeker niet vergeten mag worden☺☺ dus voor ons als gezin zeker nog een keer een vakantieadres om naar terug te gaan. Een tevreden familie uit Zeeland

Gîte très agréable au coeur de la montagne mais seulement à 2km du centre ville de Gerardmer. Calm absolut. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Jessica, et le propriétaire a également était très réactive pour régler un petit souci dans la journee. Le chalet est très confortable et spacieux, bien aménagé même si toujours en cours d’amenagement (nous étions je crois les premiers locataires), lits super confortables et une vue magnifique de chaque coin du chalet.
