About this apartment rental
The lovingly furnished apartment is located in a quiet location in Lichtenhain, directly at the Saxon Switzerland National Park. Lichtenhain, as a district of the silk flower town of Sebnitz, is particularly known for the wild and romantic Kirnitzschtal, the Kuhstall (second largest rock gate in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains) and the Lichtenhainer waterfall.
The apartment on the top floor has a cozy living room with a fully equipped kitchenette, a bedroom with a double bed, a cozy loft with two single beds and a bathroom with shower and toilet. It is also equipped with WiFi, satellite TV, radio and central heating. Bed linen and towels are included in the price for stays of 5 nights or more. A car parking space, a seating area with barbecue facilities and a lawn are also available on the property. Bicycles can be parked in the owner's garage upon request. From the property you can enjoy a wonderful view of the mountain panorama of Saxon Switzerland. In Lichtenhain you will also find two restaurants, a café, a bowling alley and a village shop. There is a public playground in town for our little guests.
The holiday home is a perfect starting point for your activities in Saxon Switzerland, as well-marked hiking and biking trails run right in front of the property. The Lichtenhain waterfall in the Kirnitzschtal can be reached on foot within 30 minutes. Half an hour should also be planned for the ascent to the cowshed. Other popular excursion destinations are the Bastei (20 km), the Königstein Fortress (15 km), the Rathen rock stage (22 km), the Sebnitz silk flower manufactory and the local history museum as well as the border crossing to the Czech Republic (6 km), the national park house, the Elberadweg and the Tuscany thermal baths in Bad Schandau (8 km).
Excursion destinations for children are: the Steinreich adventure world at the Bastei car park in Rathewalde, the railway worlds in Rathen, the Elbe Free Land and the climbing garden in Königstein, the prehistoric park as well as the Soli-Vital sports and leisure center in Sebnitz, the Mariba bathing paradise in Neustadt / Saxony .

Die Fewo war sauber und für unsere Reise mehr als ausreichend. Wir waren jeden Tag unterwegs und haben die Tage dort sehr genossen. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett und man konnte sich gut unterhalten. Außerdem haben wir viele Tipps zum Wandern und zu der Umgebung bekommen.

Die ferienwhg. ist schön, aber das Möbilar könnte gut mal wieder ausgetauscht werden. Sonst alles vorhanden und prima.
