About this house rental
Waterfront vacation home perfectly suited for a getaway for two or three families. Relax and spend quality time together on 2 acres of your own private escape. Featuring dock, sandy beach, 300+ feet of private waterfront, and shared playground and basketball court. Owner also owns adjacent vacation home (Property ID: 997046).
House is only one and half hours away from metropolitan DC and an hour from Richmond. Marina within minutes drive.

• Dock, perfect for cookouts and enjoyment

• Large fully screened-in porch, with dining room table and sitting area
- Indoor amenities include:
• 3,000+ square foot home, with open floor plan and 20+ foot ceiling
• 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms; the house can sleep up to 16 individuals, including kids (2 bedrooms with queen beds; 1 bedroom with 3 bunk beds (2 full size and 4 twin beds); another bedroom with 3 twin-size beds) One sleeper sofa in the basement with a full size bed. Accommodations for additional individuals will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Large fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. 2 regular coffee makers (filters provided), Instant Pot, crockpot, large cooking pot and large griddle provided.
• Pool table, ping pong table, 3 different smart TV, wireless internet, and large play area for kids
• Washer and dryer, hairdryers, iron
• Pillows, Blankets, Comforters, Linens, bath towels, dish towels, and sheets are provided.

The house had everything you could need to support a weekend getaway for the entire extended family. It was clean and welcoming with amazing views and something to do for every age level.

The house was larger than it looks in the pictures and was very comfortable. We spent most of our time on the screened porch and in the dock area. Everyone (including our 3 & 4 yo grandchildren) loved the lake and felt safe with the house's life jackets in the low traffic, no wake cove. We made good use of the kayaks and stand up paddle board. The 4 yo was thrilled to catch a lot of fish. The partially covered dock provided shade for sunny days. We enjoyed a day exploring the lake on a pontoon boat, rented from the convenient marina right across the cove. (An accessible water source outside would have made clean up easier.) The grocery store and restaurants were close by. We cooked all our meals but one in the bright, well-equipped and clean kitchen which was plenty large enough for several of us to use at the same time.We all appreciated the children's area with toys and games. I didn't even need to unpack most of the toys I brought.

Check in was a little hard at the time but property management was very helpful, kitchen had just about everything needed ( electric hand mixer would be nice). Wi-Fi was even accessible at the dock. There was a lot of boat traffic but being so close to the marina was not bad. Grandkids caught plenty of fish from the dock area and enjoyed the swimming area. And yes the last two steps down into the lake is very slippery. We enjoyed our stay

Fun & relaxing! We brought our 4 kayaks which allowed us to have boats or boards for all 10 in our party. The house was perfect - open, beautiful views, tastefully decorated. We appreciated all the kitchen appliances and extra towels! The covered dock was a blessing and allowed my 76-yr-old parents to enjoy watching the kids play in the water when they visited for lunch, despite the 90-degree weather. Ryann was very responsive before and during the stay. We will definitely be back!
