menorca seafront apartment with beautiful views

This was our second stay at this complex of apartments. The apartment was clean and tidy on arrival. It was well equipped and Tere was always available to answer any questions that we had. There is a wonderful sea view and you can view the beautiful sunsets from the balcony. The apartment is very well situated for exploring the whole of the island. It is also only a few minutes drive from beautiful Ciutadella. There are several restaurants and shops within short walking distance of the apartment too. We will certainly return in the future!

We stayed in this property for 14 days with our kids, aged 10 and 14 and enjoyed it immensely! The flat is small and somewhat more run-down than the pictures suggest -- it could use a fresh coat of paint and there was some rust in the bathroom -- but it was spotless and very comfortable. A lot of nice touches made our stay especially pleasant: extra towels for the beach, a good quality Nespresso machine, a citrus juicer to make fresh orange juice, an immersion blender to make smoothies, a clothes rack behind the windows to dry laundry, a small washing machine. There is an air-conditioning unit only in one of the bedrooms, and on very hot days it was hard to cool down the rest of the apartment, but there are several standing fans for a bit of relief from the heat. The flat is part of a complex with a small shared pool, and there was a problem with the water supply for a few days, but we had excellent communication with the agency who kept us updated on repairs. The best part of the flat was a view of the sea from the balcony, and stunning sunsets every evening! There are numerous restaurants and bars in walking distance, but the supermarkets in the village are very basic and overpriced so it does make sense to rent a car, at least for a few days. Also walking distance are a few gorgeous coves for swimming in clear turquoise water. There is a bus to Citaudella, which is well worth a visit. Overall, we loved our stay!
