Hiram made check in easy and was available throughout our stay via text. The staff at Intima are attentive and professional- Sara is absolutely wonderful! The jacuzzi was adjustable to be less hot on the scorching days of Tulum’s summer, and the pool and jacuzzi near the bar area were lovely when we wanted to venture out of our room and partake of the delicious cocktails at the swim up bar. The room itself is air conditioned and very comfortable. Tips: - the location is about a 10-minute bike ride to Centro…it’s a hot 10 minutes in the summer, make sure to bring LOTS of sunscreen. - rent a scooter, ATV, or bike right across from the wine bar adjacent the property. We rented two bikes for 5 days and it was $40 USD. - a farmacia is within walking distance and has all the essentials for protecting yourself from the sun and insects! - Oxxo is right on the corner where you can buy beer, water, bread, milk, snacks, etc, and they accept payment by cards - Banco Azteca is the closest, safe ATM, and it wasn’t in service half the time. We ended up just finding places to pay by card since we only had a couple days left in Tulum, but just know that you may have to travel a bit to find another cambio. DO NOT use ATMs on the street! Go to either a bank or a grocery store. - I highly recommend booking a tour of cenotes or ruins with Mexico Kan Tours. The price seems a bit steep, but they pick up right from Intima, their guides are awesome, and they feed you! You can do a tour with them for the same price that a taxi would charge to take you to and from the hotel! Thank you for a wonderful visit!!

My husband and I had a great long weekend staying here! This place is great for couples looking for a quieter, relaxing weekend in Tulum. Having access to a pool was really important to us as well as a central area to get to both the beach and the busy street in town. We rented a car and were able to grab some small grocery items. Harim was extremely responsive and the cafe downstairs was nice for morning coffee/breakfast. One thing to note- the streets leading up to the property are not paved and both streets are fairly busy highways, making walking possible, but a bit tricky at night.

Super relaxed environment, this is NOT a super busy bodies packed in the pool place, it is intimate. Secluded from the outside, swim up bar, excellent drinks fairly priced. Food at the restaurant was delicious. You are walking distance from the main street, and there is parking available on site. Definitely someplace I would re-visit. There was an electrical issue that did NOT affect us, except to reset the clocks.
