Monbaz Street, which is between Haneviim Street and Yafo Street, is in the heart of the cultural and historical district of Nachalat Shiva which is home to many charming alleys and close to 45 major historical and architectural sites, art galleries and museums ... Also known for its modern side of the city, you'll find fabulous restaurants, nightlife, shopping and trendy cafes / bars. Downtown Jerusalem is a great choice if you want to be in the heart of the action and close to all the major sites, including the Old Town, Mahane Yehuda Market and the famous Mamilla shopping avenue.
You will find everything you need right on your doorstep and it is easy to go everywhere while walking in this lively area. This is an excellent choice for those seeking a little more action in an ideal place.
Note: The apartment is not located in Mea Shearim area so you can take out the Shabat quietly and in the outfit of your choice.
Getting Around:
The apartment is located 50 meters from the tram station "Jaffa Center", which takes you to the bus station sites or other neighborhood of Jerusalem, like Yad Vashem, in 7 minutes ...

This is an excellent apartment within easy walking distance to the Old City and many shops and restaurants. Our only problem was with the parking. We could not get the gate to open and did not get any assistance from the property manager. We relied on other residents going in/out of the garage

Jacob was an excellent host - responsive before and during our stay. His modern, comfortable apartment is a stone’s throw from public transportation, restaurants and the Jaffa Gate of the old city.
The view from the apartment balcony was amazing. Vistas into the Temple Mount and all of the Old City and a close up look at the Russian Compound with its magnificent orthodox
Church.
This apartment was ideal for two couples or a small family. Although we only used the kitchen sparingly, it was well equipped if one chose to cook meals.
Jacob was able to accommodate our request to store our luggage for a few hours after checkout, because we had a mid-afternoon taxi to the airport.. This was very helpful, allowing us to get in some additional sightseeing without worrying about lugging bags around.
