Charming house with pool for 8-9 people near La Rochelle.
Restored house of 120m2 in a quiet village, without vis-à-vis, with landscaped garden and pool secured by a rigid flap, unheated (used from late April to late September)
Ideally located at the gateway to the green Venice, the Vendée and its beaches and 15 minutes from the center of La Rochelle.

140x190 convertible sofa (rapido system) with mattress 14cm thick, 220x240 duvet

We enjoyed our stay, very much helped by the beautiful weather and being able to make use of the amazing pool, which was kept lovely and clean by the cleaning robot and the pool man! A well equipped kitchen although needs chopping boards and perhaps a grater! Whilst I appreciate that there is wardrobe space in the utility, it’s not always convenient to have your clothes in another room! The bedrooms could do with more clothes storage! The beds were very comfortable. The stairs to the first floor are very open which I think should be mentioned in the house details, not really suitable for young children! The banister at the top of the stairs is loose and extremely dangerous! It would take very little for the whole thing to break! This needs addressing. We were very fortunate with the weather but had rain on the last night, rain water came in through the roof between the dining area and lounge area, this is obviously an ongoing problem and the reason the floor has lifted in the dining area! (A trip hazard) The gardens are potentially beautiful but we felt needed attention. The above did not deter our enjoyment of our holiday but we feel are points that need attention.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Lovely house in a handy location - Lidl was within walking distance. The pool and garden were our favourite part!

We had an excellent stay at the house. Sandrine was there to receive us and to show us around. The neigbours were friendly, and I used to go for a walk aroung the village. We went to Marans for shopping, restaurants and boat rides; had a day out at La Rochelle. We were always back in the afternoon for a relaxing time in or near the pool and to enjoy our evenings drinks. The all family loved the holiday xxx
