The property was as expected and good value for money. Good location and included parking. A little dated and in need of some refurbishment.

The whole letting experince was a nightmare. I booked through Booking.com and paid the agreed Booking.Com price. I was then contacted by local letting agents who said we would have to pay extra for bedding (€40) and a special Cleaning on our departure (up to €75) This is almost €100 more than the agreed price. We had no way of seeing these hidden costs as they were not advised by Booking.com All of the communications were in French and very unhelpful and even on the day of arrival we were having to make phone calls to get the keys. In the end they left them under a large rock in the front garden. We had to pay a £250 damage bond before out arrival and this has only just been refunded 4 weeks after the holiday. The local letting agent have been VERY unhelpful and quite arrorgant, even asking for copies of our Travel Insurance, which I have never been asked for before in France. A nice property in a good location spoiled by hidden costs and very poor communication. On a final note, days before our holiday the local super market was destroyed in a fire. Again. No communication from the letting agent to let is know. Very poor given this was a self catering holiday. O the day of arrival we then had to drive miles to find a super-market.
