Waking up to the sound of birds with a sea view in the morning and then enjoying breakfast in the garden is such a delight. Reaching the beach with just a 6–7 minute walk through the vineyards is simply wonderful. We will truly miss Yıldız’s delicious dinners and the lovely conversations at the hotel. Mami makes a real difference with his warm personality and friendly service. The relationship of Mami with children are remarkable. It’s a fantastic hotel where families with kids can feel completely at ease. We will definitely return next year. Many thanks to Ataberk, for his warm hospitality. For 20 years, until 2018, we used to spend every summer in Bozcaada. This was our first visit since having our child, and it was definitely one of the most enjoyable holidays we’ve ever had on the island.

Es war alles super. Klima war vorhanden und Betten waren ebenfalls bequem. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und sehr nett. Man konnte sich gut mit ihnen unterhalten und sie nahmen sich auch Zeit für einen. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Das Beste war die Nähe zum Meer. Zu Fuß ist man in nur 5 Minuten sowohl beim Sulubahce-, als auch am Ayazma-Strand.

Leider ging das freie Wlan in unserem Zimmer nicht. Nur direkt an der Tür hat es funktioniert.

It is walking distance to Sulubahçe beach and also close to Ayazma beach. Staff is very attentive. The hotel is in a quiet location. The town center is a 10 min drive. The breakfast is generous and good quality, with fresh tea and homemade baked goods. You can also have lunch or dinner here. The food is freshly prepared and home-style.

This is a pension rather than a full-service hotel, so I wasn’t expecting daily housekeeping or the beds to be made. However, for a four-night stay, I would have expected someone to at least check the room, replace dirty towels if needed, and empty the bathroom trash. This was especially important because toilet paper cannot be flushed, yet there was only a small trash can in the bathroom and none in the room or hallway. Not having the trash emptied during our entire stay was inconvenient. The rooms were also quite dimly lit. The bathroom felt dated, with an old bathroom door, a broken shower holder, and no shelf inside the shower for soap or shampoo. Overall, it felt more like renting a room with an excellent homemade breakfast than staying somewhere that provides even basic housekeeping during a multi-night stay.
