Hirafu Tomten

Warm, supportive, and cozy beds. Opening windows. Quiet rooms. Lift to second floor. EXCEPTIONAL hospitality from every staff member!

Main doors to bedrooms allowed a bit of noise in, but all guests were respectful of this and we didn’t have issues with being woken up.

we liked that the place was clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff were lovely but we arrived after hours which was communicated and our check in information hadn't been left at the desk as it was meant to which was stressful. Eventually a staff member heard us that wasn't on shift and helped us. There were big lockers downstairs for equipment that were locked up so everything was safe and wet clothes could be hung in there to dry. They offered 1 free shuttle in the mornings but we ended up walking back after a day on the slopes which took around 20 min.

Started a little stressed with no information for check in and not being able to contact anyone for a while (got there in the end) rooms are VERY small but I had heard this about japan in general. I wouldn't rely on the breakfast as it was very basic and you had to be down there right before it started to make sure you got something.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Great location not far from the Hirafu center and close to the free shuttle bus stop (The Orchards). They do provide free shuttle service in the morning. Cozy room and very convenient ski storage on the ground floor. Simple and filling breakfast.

Staff was excellent. Location was good. Property condition was very nice

Noise levels were very high. Guests in the lobby until late at night could be heard easily in my room. I was also adjacent to the ski storage area so anything going on in there was transferred through the walls.
