Brilliant place to stay en route to Eurotunnel. Clean, tidy and spacious.

We loved how family friendly the place was. We have a newborn and they left the stuff out for us which helped a lot. The place is nice and clean and a reasonable size. This is now our go to place when we need to stop over in France to catch the eurotunnel. Wish we could have stayed longer! The parking space was also a massive positive for me as we were travelling by car so the reassurance we had our own spot was great.

We liked the space.

It did not look so nice as on the pictures. Problem with acrylic bed acrylc linen, deck, cushion.. So it was very sweaty. Could not open the roof window as it was for us too high.

Great stopover location to break a long journey

We needed a stopover close to Calais after a late tunnel. Great location, off road parking and easy to access late at night. Clean and well laid out. Perfect for our needs.

Excellent location only 15 minutes from Calais. Very well equipped and clean. Comfortable beds. Very communicative host.

Lounge could be made a bit more welcoming, and didn’t like plastic coverings on dining/coffee table, but fine for overnight stay.

A wonderful, welcoming and comfortable overnight stay in a fantastic gite!

Fantastic location for an overnight stay - very easy to find and just 20 minutes to Calais port. The property looked good in the photos, but exceeded our expectations! My 5 year old loved the Mr Potato Heads to play with. We all found the beds comfortable and had a great night’s sleep. My children wanted to stay longer! The communication from the host was excellent and the provision and attention to detail/provision in the gite was fabulous. We would definitely like to return one day. Thank you.

A very, very minor point that some English breakfast teabags would have been amazing as we are not coffee drinkers. As it happened, we did have a few so were able to make our tea!

Superb

It was a very well equipped gite and very comfortable too. Its location on the main street through Marquise makes it easy to find. Three supermarkets are close by, so it's easy to buy groceries and fresh food for self-catering. The owner lives on site and is on hand to help if required. A great stop over location.

Fully equipped. Convenient for our overnight stopover and had everything we needed. Free parking just outside. Close to Eurotunnel. Village lovely.

The internal stairs are a bit steep and needed care. We were fine but those with reduced mobility may struggle.

Nice and comfortable house, we stayed here for a week with two kids.

Nice and spacious house. Located in the main road in Marquise, close to several supermarkets and shops. No traffic noise. Only a 10min drive away from the beautiful beach in Wissant, and 15 minutes from either of Les Deux Caps. Even Boulogne-sur-mer is only 20min away, nice for a rainy day. Friendly host who met us when we arrived to hand over the keys and give some extra info.

No dishwasher (luxury problem I know). No garden but when the weather is nice you'll be on the beach. All the rest was very good.

Quick stop on the way to Eurotunnel

Fabulous and comfortable accommodation in a great location just 5 minutes from the A16 motorway and 20 minutes from Eurotunnel. We stopped for just one night to break the long journey back to the UK from the South West but the gite and Marquise would be perfect for a longer stay. Off-road parking is an absolute bonus for people travelling (like us) with a full car and bikes and needing somewhere safe to leave our car.

Tout, le logement étais super, le lit parapluie était installé pour bébé, il y avais également tout le nécessaire. C’était hyper confortable. Je recommande 1000x ce gîte.

Vocht en muffe geur

Het bed was van goede kwaliteit

De geur, er hangt een muffe geur in heel de woning. Er is duidelijk vocht in de woning aanwezig, het behangpapier hangt op verschillende plaatsen los. Ook het pltisterwerk komt los van de muren. Men probeert er wel iets van te maken doch de geur hinderde me sterk. We voorzagen zelf een geurverfrisser.
