About this cottage rental
A spacious, comfortable cottage in a beautiful tranquil setting back from the road. 50 metres from Birdwoods Gallery. 3 minutes to restaurants and boutique shopping in Havelock North. Walk around Endsleigh Road (a loop road) for wonderful views - about 50 mins. 10 mins to Te Mata Peak for more views and well defined walking and mountain bike tracks. Use our free bikes to enjoy the Hawkes Bay bike trails extending from Napier and Hastings to Havelock North and surrounds.
We always have spare carrots for our pet donkeys Humphrey and Winston. Our tabby cat Gladys is also on site.
We have a great collection of books for you to read. Guests will often post them back if they haven't quite finished when they leave.

No loud noise after 10pm.
Return all furniture to original place before leaving.

It was an extremely cold & wet weekend in Havelock North and the cottage was cold. There was 4 heaters in the cottage and we had them on day and night. The back door lock was difficult to navigate so we locked it from the outside and only used the front door. Found treats in the fridge, a lovely surprise.
